Maybe I am the a..hole, but today I bought a bunch of books, paid for them and noticed they have wrapping. Two of the books were for a child's 1st birthday, I so asked if those could be wrapped. The owner said yes, (she was checking people out) cut the wrapping paper and the proceeded to help the next people in line, who were not in line when I checked out. The next customers has a bunch of question about water color painting and brushes, for which I waited. Then the customers wanted some brushes that where in the cellar. The owner then left to go get them. Meanwhile, I am just left stranded. I took the two books back and left the store. I was a little upset, even said WTF as I left. (Not too proud of that, I just amazed I was being disregarded). I returned to store, waited in line and returned the books. While I waiting I overheard the cutters who were given priority talking trash to the owner about what had happened. Am I wrong? I am not sure I'll go back.

The shop is quite big and you could spend a lot of time there. The Moravian Book Shop has new books, greeting cards, toys and games, and Moravian and Bethlehem-themed gifts. There were many ornaments. The Moravian University student bookstore had textbooks and school supplies. It is definitely worth checking out since there is so much history in this book shop.

Absolutely amazing to meet what I assume is the owner, who shared his incredible knowledge and quite interesting, if horrifying, details of William Burroughs biography. This is to me, the most crucial difference between a corporate chain, where the clerks might be nice and courteous, and a community based shop that knows its patronage, able to share insights with its customers, connecting people to stories and ultimately, creating new stories. What the gentlemen shared with me is sensational and haunting, it was about Burroughs shooting his wife at a party, trying to perform a trick by shooting the apple she placed on her head. He missed the apple. It haunted him and now, me, what a graphic image, what a horrendous and tragic way to part with life. And what a wonderful experience and a great book i purchased, in fact the selection here while small and eclectic, is quite impeccable. I purchased Zadie Smith's new book "the Fraud" and so glad i did, I really want that book in my library. Can't wait to come back to this shop.

Found this wonderful bookstore while walking through Easton. Can't believe this place doesn't have…read moreany reviews, it deserves 5 stars. Upon entering we were greeted by a nice gentlemen who let us explore the store at our own pace. We were pleasantly surprised by the vast variety of books that were culturally sensitive, with strong Black protagonist. Being a multiracial family, this is very important to us. Take a look at the great selection they had, you won't regret it. They also have story time during the week and weekends. Oh, it's also right next to the Crayola Factory! There's street parking throughout and a few public lots in the surrounding area. Can't wait to come here next time we are in Easton. If this review was helpful, show me some love.

I walked by this bookstore a million times and finally went inside. It's in a cute little building…read moreand has two floors and multiple rooms with books. What I like about this bookstore is everything is well curated and organized and there isn't an overwhelming amount of books. It's mostly popular titles or current titles and you can easily pick out books to read. They had a small seasonal section as well which I picked from. I bought 5 books each were around $5 or so which is such a good deal . I spent $27 in total. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the mood for a current book to read, it's much easier than browsing thrift stores and the like. The girl at the counter was also nice to boot ! Shop small and keep this gem around.

We have been looking forward to being in the area again so we could visit again. When we walked in we felt right at home. They have over 4 aisles full of long boxes with back issues. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The selection of back issues is fantastic. Although their $1.00 comics are now at $1.50 we were still were able to walk out with over 200 comics and were given a great deal on them. Their walls of New issues is also very impressive and then give a great discount to customers who subscribe with them. We are planning on coming back and going through their aisles of 0.50 and 0.10 cimics Next time. Almost forgot to mention their very large gamers area. Don't miss coming here.
