I asked him what he was going to do with them and he said he would take them to a store he knows that buys them. Excuse me? Sounded like HE was going to resell my stuff!!!! I took it to another place that his employee said to go, before he butted in, and made 40 dollars. It may not be much, but it was something. Seller beware if they tell you to donate. Chances are theyre lying and will try and resell your stuff instead of pay you for things that are worth money! He even said "dont take it to Value Village, they dont appreciate 'media'" That may be so, but at least Value Village doenst LIE about what they do! I would never reccomend ANYONE to sell thier stuff here, or if you DO, DONT take their advice and donate. Sell it yourself or shop around! Total scam artists!!!

So if you're looking for Bowie, his records will be scattered throughout the "B" section. That's okay I guess if you've got all day to browse, but the records are also packed in super tight. I was here to meet a dear friend. Our midpoint is Oshawa. I suggested that we meet here. She had a gift card to use. I just love books and gift items. The magazine section is massive. There is so much selection that I barely got through reading half the magazine titles. I love the cookbooks. I want them all! From keto to vegan, there's something for you. I still don't understand the need to wear reading socks. You can buy those here, too. My friend did manage to buy something. We waited in line a bit before she got to pay. All was well. There were plenty of Christmas items on sale. They were at least 30% off the regular price. Although it was busy on a Saturday, I can see it being a good place to unwind and read. It has a built-in Starbucks. Surprisingly, I did not go in. I will next time. Parking is crazy by this bookstore. However, it's not impossible to get a decent parking spot. The owner Cal MacLean is a true vinyl aficionado who has helped me track down several of my most sought after LPs for very fair prices. I also highly recommend selling/trading your unwanted records here as it has the fairest prices in the city.
