I was also advised that weekly $150 blowouts were necessary to properly "maintain my investment," which I followed consistently. The issues began immediately after a mini move-up performed by Lizzy. While still in the salon, my scalp began severely itching. During my blowout, I had to stop the stylist multiple times due to the intensity of the irritation. Within three days, the row shifted and began falling out. This progressed into pain and visible shedding directly along the rows. When I first reached out, I simply asked to have the row reinstalled. I did not accuse anyone or demand a refund. If I believed I had caused the issue, I would have gladly paid to have it corrected. Instead, I was told it may have been caused by pulling or possibly a health issue. At the same time, I was advised to remove the extensions myself using pliers while experiencing pain and hair loss. These explanations conflicted with the fact that symptoms began immediately following the service. The only reason I trimmed a small exposed portion of weft while traveling was because the row had already shifted and was visibly unraveling after the move-up. In a later conversation, it was acknowledged that the situation was not handled professionally. I was told an owner would contact me to discuss it further, but I did not receive that follow-up. For clarity, clients are instructed to contact Lizzy directly rather than the salon regarding services. The extensions were ultimately removed because my natural hair was being compromised. I am sharing this to document my experience and the sequence of events as they occurred.

We had no previous experience with the salon or the stylist, but I showed a few pictures of my daughter's hair and the kind of look we were going for. She was kind, confident, and agreed to take her on. Come prom day, we arrived a little early, though we weren't seen before our scheduled time--but we were taken right on time, which I appreciated. And most importantly: my daughter loved her hair. It looked beautiful and held up all night. Prevé really came through in a pinch and delivered. We're so glad we found them.

The client repeatedly told the hairstylist that her cut was uneven, and the stylist told her that they're out of time and she would have to come back another time to get it fixed. The client pushed for someone else to come over, and by then it was 18 minutes past my appointment time. I let the receptionist know I was leaving as I had a busy morning planned and there was no end in sight at this point. The salon called me and asked when I could come back to see the same stylist. I told them I wasn't comfortable seeing that stylist after what happened earlier, and they offered no discount to return for my time lost or the opportunity to see someone else. I observed the owner coughing, not was her hands , then put it in cuatomers hair. I was observing a barber picking his nose and did not wash his hands. Then he picked up remote to watch TV. At that point tech was ready to polish but I felt like I was going to throw up. I told her I didn't feel comfortable and she asked if it was because no one had on masks. I said yes, masks are required in county. She said the shop is cleaned everyday. That's fine but additional precaution should still be taken. I paid her $20 and left.
