I'll give Nu Wave two stars. The last two times they forgot to send my order to the cook and another time they gave it to someone else. When the cashier realized someone else had it, she pointed to the lady and said "oh she has it". Mind you this lady was waiting for someone to pick her up so she had been sitting at the table with my food for about 15 minutes and had looked through the food containers at least twice. No thank you! I am not taking food that someone else had for 15 minutes. Not only was it 15 minutes, but we are living in the time of Covid. Sighhh come on people. These two incidents do not even cover the other issues I've had when ordering food here. The two stars come in to play because the chicken tenders are great. I enjoyed them so much the first time I had them that I returned the next day for another order. Also, the workers and even some of the customers have flippantly told me that the bread was under my food on the bottom of the container when I inquired about it. Check your bags people. 5/28/21 I walk in to pick up an order made on the app. I told the cook that the potato salad WAS NOT potato salad. It was this macaroni mayonnaise onion concoction Nottinghamshire the enslaved ancestors standards. I told him how a coworker started to feel ill after eating it and he said there was nothing he could do. I decided to take my loss and hope today works be better. (Different cook btw). The chicken was good. Nice and lemon peppered.... until I saw my peach cobbler started molding from inside its container. That same cook said he made it two days ago. Now when I went down to Eastern Michigan University and got my degree in accounting, they didn't teach me about culinary arts. But I know that mold doesn't grow that quick on peach cobbler. How sad. I really had a taste for it. And now I'll never eat there again. Let's just say, I lost my appetite. read more

Horrible service, placed order over the phone. Once I was there they lost my order & said I would have to wait another, didn't offer anything a drink , discount extra wing....... nothing! Last night 09/18/2022, I ordered a 6 piece boneless combo & a catfish nugget combo. The chicken combo seems to be fine. I had the catfish nuggets and this morning around 5 am I woke up and was throwing up for an hour and a half. So I will not ever be returning. I do believe I have food poisoning. Loads of food for the price, all of it "good enough". Not really decorated to be the kind of place you want to sit around and eat at, so plan on carryout. Open late, which is a plus, but they did run out of the mac n cheese well before 9pm last time I was there.
