I was in serious need of a spare key as the vehicle I purchased had only come with one key. This key was one with push buttons and remote start. So I called the local dealership and their parts department told me the key was available but, I needed to make a service appointment to get it programmed. Needless to say when they gave me the price quote I nearly went into shock. JUST UNDER $500. I contacted James of Nunes locksmith and he immediately returned my text. He was very professional and quickly got me started in the right direction. Asking what type of vehicle and what type of remote I had. My husband and I were getting ready to make the move from Mountain House to Colorado when we realized we accidentally locked the Uhaul truck keys in the Uhaul. This was early Friday morning. This is the weirdest review I will have to leave. I asked for a quote to get additional keys made and get some car fobs programmed back in March 2021. I ordered the keys off Amazon that he approved and he came to my house within a couple days. One the one hand, They did a great job rekeying my car. Even had the great idea of making a key just to open my door to keep in my purse in case I lock my actual car keys in the car which has saved my butt a few times already. But we needed to get different car fobs to work on my Corolla because the one Amazon said was compatible for my car didn't actually work. He said to order another set and he would come an program them at a different date. I tried contact him a few times to get the work scheduled and I was ghosted.
