Decided to do a birthday photoshoot. Let me tell you how amazing the experience was. I walked through the door and was greeted and offered a drink while I waited for the makeup artist. The studio was Clean and sleek. The staff were top tier! Everyone was so kind and did everything to make me feel comfortable. 10/10 I recommend trying this studio and for some it's a stepping out of your comfort zone experience that is well worth it. My makeup service was on point and my photographer was the best. The only thing is it can be a bit pricey and you may leave spending a couple thousand that's including stainless steel prints or a photo binder, but they will walk you through the options. Wow I had such an amazing experience with my first photo shoot. The team was wonderful. I was debating getting my make up done since I have some experience with make up myself but I'm so glad I had their makeup artist Tai do it. I was worried about how well versed the artists were with asian eyes and hair but Tai did a fabulous job. It really is different doing make up for day-to-day events versus for a camera. The makeup seems really heavy in person but it looks perfect in the photos. I brought my own false eyelashes and Tai incorporated them in well. Sophie was my photographer and she was phenomenal. She also helped me go over my photos to see which ones I wanted to keep. She was really patient and was efficient in setting up the poses. She's super nice and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire thing. Skyler added the designs (like the flows drape add ons) at the same appointment so I could get a good idea what my final prints will look like and WOW they elevate the photos. My experience with Nuovo Miami really exceeded my expectations and I am so excited to have these timeless memories. I understand it can be pricey but most professional photo studios are pricey when taking into account their equipment and staff and venue rental. The best part is that it is an all female team throughout the ENTIRE process. I booked a birthday photoshoot with Nuovo and my photographer was Barbie. She is a sweetheart and provided me with quite the immersive experience. The staff was very positive and professional. The shoot itself is a great experience, and they did my makeup for free. The photos are $200 each and albums are all above $2,000 for anyone curious. The studio is very private and female ran which is a plus. My only qualm was that I was not fully satisfied with my images and here's why ... I have tattoos that were blurred with their editing so those areas of my skin look muddy and dark. I did request the original photos and they did send them expeditiously, however unfortunately the images are still odd looking around my tattoos and my skin looks quite weird in comparison to myself in real life, I just was not fully satisfied with the outcome of my photos. I'm not sure why they look that way but ...My rating is based off of my quality of photos since that's what I came here for I will add photos for reference :) Overall I still recommend the studio just be mindful if you have tattoos it may look different. read more

From the moment I walked in I communicated with Stevie and told me someone would be expecting me. I sat down and received a complimentary mimosa at reception. It's the most deceiving and so far my most expensive photoshoot. It was advertised as a bday gift free shoot. They ask you if you need hair and makeup and I say no. Curious how much photos are they say 200 and higher. Not $1000-$4000 range and in the end I end up with one and half photo for $1100. Not sure how I agreed to this but it's not fair to the person signing up being led with $200 with take home with 1 framed art photo and I'm far from cheap. The entrance can use some help. The service was ok. I went for a free photoshoot. They provide a drink! The make up service was pretty. I didn't want red lips but I had no other options. DO NOT GO HERE. FINANCIAL SCAM Would leave 0 stars if I could. This is a financial scam. They offer free or discounted photoshoots promising a luxury experience and a photo for their advertised price. After completing the experience the owner will sit you down and try to sell you additional photos that were taken. If you can't afford their outlandish price tags: thousands and thousands of dollars they try to get you to sign up for payment plan. Not only was it a repeating cycle of pushing the expensive options; they refused to tell me how much a few photos are. Anything cheaper than their top dollar items. I have looked online after their terrible experience and I'm not the only one this has happened too. Similar experiences on Reddit and other social media platforms. Shady business. read more

Maybe because it was a holiday Monday, not sure, but my appt. felt a bit off. I was asked to arrive by 9:30am to have my hair and makeup done for my 10 am appt. I arrived at 9:15. Btw, all the ladies were friendly, however, no one introduced themselves by name. First, I was told by the Makeup artist that my photographer will be arriving at 11. My appt was at 10 am. No one asked if that would be okay with me. If I, the customer, were late, I was told that I would need to reschedule. So, I woke myself up on my off day and drove the hour to Miami. If my appt was to be late, someone could've contacted me by phone to let me know before I headed south at 8:30 am. Makeup: There wasn't truly a discussion with me as to the type of makeup I would like for my photo shoot. Usually, the question would be "natural or lots of color?" I'm not a makeup artist, so I'm not there to contradict anything being done. However, I can see from other customers' makeup, that maybe mine was exaggerated a bit. Photo shoot: The session consisted of various poses; mostly positions on the floor. For some reason, I felt rushed through the session. I also became nauseous with the quick movements. Not knowing to what degree my photos will be "touched up" I didn't feel some poses were very flattering. For example, my chin did not look great when asked to look down. On some poses, I felt a few details could've been improved with more coaching. I.e. pointing of my toes, more arching of my back; things the photographer could have coached me more on. For me, it was easy to cancel photos during my review due to those flaws. With all of that going on, I still felt it was a creative project worth documenting my special birthday with some photos. So I ordered the digital ones. I hope they are reviewed closely and flaws disappear while positives are accentuated. Please consider this feedback for improvement and not a blast against any of the team members. My hot tea was made perfectly. This place is so fun! A great place to get some professional sexy photos of yourself. They have 2 different studios to choose from black or white background. They offer alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks when you arrive in a nice pretty reusable glass the photographer poses you in all the poses and helps you. Parking is great they have their own parking lot so you aren't searching for a parking spot. You do have to purchase your photos that day since they don't have any rights to your photo's because they delete them. Also at the end of your shoot they give you a rose to take home which is so cute! Paulina was my photographer and she was so amazing! So I found this place from the advertisement on instagram for the free birthday photoshoot. I was put with the beautiful Paulina. She was absolutely incredible. She made me feel so comfortable right away and so beautiful during such a vulnerable and intimate moment. I've never done anything like this before and was very excited but nervous going into this. literally shed tears on may way home from the studio. But NOT tears of joy, tears of FRUSTRATION. After arriving the 15 minutes early, at 12:00 noon, "to avoid any potential delays", as the appointment confirmation text advised, being that they also said, "punctuality plays a crucial role" I waited about 20 minutes before anyone even came over to greet me upon my arrival. Then I waited almost an hour to get the pre-scheduled hair and make-up service done. Then I waited TWO MORE HOURS before the photographer was ready for my session. Also one photographer approached me to introduce herself just to tell me she's not ready; then a second photographer approach me to tell me she's almost ready but has to clean the room. By that time, I'm aggravated, tired, and the curls in my hair had fallen. So when I finally get up to go into the session, I vented about the wait. Burt instead of an apology, I got excuses. At the point in time, nothing could have been said to me to me to excuse a THREE HOUR delay, which DOES NOT even count hair and make-up service. I literally sat and waited idle for THREE HOURS. I actually sat in the make-up chair (the make-up artist and hair stylist were very nice, bye the way) and she heard me cancel a massage appointment that I still had to pay for because it was a same day cancelation. I also canceled a medical appointment I had because I knew I would not make it in time. I explained this to the photographer however, she chose to insist on making excuses instead of simply hearing me out and moving on with the session. I explained to her that I asked and was told the approximate time frame it would take, so that I could plan my day. The energy was so far OFF that there is no way any pictures would have come out nicely, so I just left. If I could give zero stars I would, over a month ago we had gone in( birthday shoot for my partner) I had originally left a review the day of the shoot and despite the long wait time my partner had a decent experience you could say. We were told we would be contacted within 2-3 weeks for the edits and what not, now a month later we have received absolutely no calls, emails, nothing whatsoever. We've tried to reach out to them several times including today, we have left voicemails but no luck. I won't ever be back or would recommend anyone to this place. I just want to start off by saying this was MY experience. I scheduled my session back in June for August 3 at 5:30pm. I received several messages and emails leading up to my appointment day. I confirmed and didn't expected anything more or less. Due to the weather I decided to arrive a little early. I got to the studio at 4:30pm and was greeted upon entry. I was asked my name and offer a mimosa or champagne. I took a seat and waited for further instructions. Two other women were already waiting to be serviced. I received my mimosa and waited. After about 30 minutes they called one of the ladies to the back to start her makeup (sn: my makeup was already done, I chose not to use their MUA) After another 30-45 mins the Second Lady was called to the back. Now the time is about 5:30pm (30 minutes after my appointment). At about 5:45pm another young lady walks in and was greeted and offered a drank. She sat down and we both waited. As we were sitting there another young lady had car issues and need a jump which the woman offer to help her. She was gone for about 20 minutes. She gets back around 6:05 and that's when things got a little WEIRD. The same lady that greeted me at the door became extremely obsessed with her (in my opinion) The comments were never ending, she offered her 3 books to look at different photos and even offered to see where she was on the waitlist even though I got there waaaay before her. She comes back and says "oh I'm your photographer and when the rooms ready I'll bring you back" that's when I asked her where was I on the list? She asked me my name AGAIN and after I told her she said it incorrectly . She comes back 5 mins later and says it's 30 mins and just walks off. The time is now 6:25 and now I'm frustrated not to mention with a pounding headache. I walk to the front and asks for my deposit so that I can leave. I don't know what the other ladies were saying but I can see the look in their eyes like THEY DROPPED THE BALL. She apologized and ask me to wait another 25mins. I agreed and sat down. I waited the 25 mins and then some and no one came to tell me anything. Here we are 7:10pm. Now I don't want any explanations I just want my deposit back and to leave their establishment. Another associate came and apologized for the delay and proceed to tell me that some of their clients were late. First off all that has NOTHING to do with me since I was actually on time. As a business owner I know how frustrating it is when things don't go as planned, but COMMUNICATION IS KEY. No one said anything to me prior or during it's only when I'm agitated and ready to go is when the communication starts? You guys asked for a $50 deposit to 1. secure your time and date and 2. to not waste the photographer time. What happens when the clients time is waste?? I say all of that to say this. I will NEVER EVER book with you guys and none of my friend/ family or even my 2.1M YouTube subscribers. You guys need to do better because we are the ones the make your business successful. They LIENuovo claims to be staffed entirely by women yet in my experience I spoke with a MAN who initially refused to tell his name. Despite acting as a well-established company-they r new & small. I saw Nuovos ad on FB & was intrigued by the unique style of photography. Im getting married this yr & wanted to celebrate my body w photography. Before booking, I looked into Nuovo & noticed they r relatively new. It was concerning that they arent listed on BBB. I decided to try their bday promo assuming it was low-risk. When you arrive theyll give you a whole lecture to gain ur trust & take nude photos of u. They overbook appointments & have you wait HOURS after ur naked photoshoot. They keep you busy w wine to get u buzzed so when you see ur pictures ur easily impressed, become sentimental & hand over ur credit card.I was at the studio from 10:30-4:30 & there were so many ppl there for sessions. W only 2 studios I cant imagine they have time to fully clean after each session. I waited hrs for my turn despite being on time. The shoot was quick--15 minutes. Then waited hrs to view my images. I loved my images. My photographer was kind & good but not much artistic talent is applied since poses r the same 4 every1. I had an hr to pick my photos. I got emotional because I had never seen myself like that. I was on a high-exactly how Nuovo wanted. I asked to have more time at home to decide. Apparently for security reasons they couldnt send me watermarked images. Another LIE! I have NEVER experienced that w any photographer. Later Nuovo sent me the wrong image & sent all the watermarked originals for me to determine which were missing. If it works in their favor they do it, but they wont for the "empowered woman" they r taking money from! I purchased an expensive package &was really looking forward to my photos after investing much time & money. 2 weeks later I get digitals. I was short an image & several of my favorite ones were missing! My heart sank.I questioned the time I spent w my photographer going over my selection. I immediately called the # on Nuovo website 4x. No one answered. Instead I got a SMS from a diff # saying they were busy-too busy swindling other vulnerable women while they have my $4k. Got ur money-don't care! I was told that I need to send an email to schedule a call! Youd assume a company "ran by women" values communication. I send an email & get a slot for a call is 3days later. In the meantime they email my original images watermarked! Im told to go thru & pick my selection. HUH?! Its allowed NOW? very unprofessional move. It was overwhelming & stressful to look thru. I receive a call AFTER the time slot had expired (a diff phone #! At this point I have 3 #s for Nuovo) I say I dont want anything to do w Nuovo. dont want to proceed w my album/print-dont want ANY of it. She said I need to wait 4 the manager to give me a call back,conveniently shes out that day. 2 days later I get a call from the manager. I want a refund but of course we go back & forth; she tried to do anything but give me my money. She even tried to tell me that the finance manager will call me back! I say NO Ill wait. After a few minute passes (enough time for the her to explain to the finance guy) Im put on the phone w a MAN-Im caught off guard-I say who am I speaking to? & he wont say. I say what is ur name??? He says Lex. I get the feeling he is more than a finance manager. My trust in Nuovo was completely shattered. We go back & forth til he agrees to give me a PARTIAL refund. Im being charged for the digital images they sent me, despite my favorites missing-Im paying Nuovo a significant amount of money for pictures Im no longer happy about. It makes me sick. It took me a while to write this review because honestly, it was a great experience up until I had to review and pick the photos that I wanted. I took my best friend with me and scheduling was super convenient and easy. it was told to me that it would take about 2 to 3 hours but it ended up taking over four hours. The women that welcome you in make you feel warm and were awesome. They provide you with drinks to make you comfortable and even try to get to know you, which I appreciated. My best friend went in before me and the photo experience was great and pretty quick. After taking the photos, they bring you in to review your photos. The person that was selling me my photos was also my photographer and honestly, this was the worst part about my experience. I let Photographer know before and after the shoot, this was completely out of my comfort zone and that I was trying to do something for personal growth. She seemed to align initially, but while reviewing the photos (there were about 75 to 80) each photo that I did not like she questioned me on and made me feel as if my thoughts were incorrect. I understand empowering someone's starndards of beauty, but she literally questioned every photo that I told her that I did not want to purchase. I came in with thought of a few photos that aligned with my home decor and she relentlessly tried to sell me large canvases, which I had to tell her multiple times would not fit my home decor aesthetic. After telling her no multiple times, she tried to sell me on metal canvases, which again I understand is a part of her role, but it took away from the empower or self-love campaign and started to feel like I was at a car dealership. At some point I got emotional because she continuously pressed back on my standards of beauty and then once she saw my response and how difficult this was for me, she began to stop. to make matters worse, my friend was also having an overwhelming experience where she actually left the reviewing of her photos because she didn't feel comfortable and just wanted to leave altogether. I ended up talking her back into finishing up the process and was extremely upset because it was supposed to be a good experience. Make sure if you go to the understand that it's not really a free picture. After you agree to go on a payment plan make sure that your photos get edited correctly because the pictures they show you is not included. Also make sure when you set up the payment plan agreement you check your account because they will get a payment right away and double charge you from your account and Debit card. It's also hard to get straight answers and always told to contact an email. The only thing good there is the makeup artist and photographer do make you feel comfortable. Everything else is bad. I have tried to call to reschedule but it has been more than a month no one answers and at this point I want my refund and lost interest in trying to reschedule. They then proceeding to tell me it would take two weeks from Jan 9 for the refund to be in my account and it has yet to happen.
