Never felt more relaxed doing a photo shoot and this was an important one for my Danish boyfriend and I (we were spending the last week of 2009 together, the year we met, with him coming from Denmark and me from Utah to Miami). Tom not only met us at dawn (when lots of people were sleeping in for New Year's Eve parties ahead), he drove us to a cool site we would have never known about, which worked perfectly for us. Tom is so easy-going that we felt like we were with friends and not being staged in unnatural ways. We felt like the photos Tom took really capture the essence of "us." I am very pleased with Tom Clark's work. I engaged him to photograph one of my sculptures, which involved capturing reflective and translucent qualities. During the shoot we came to realize it also involved a moving target as the sculpture is somewhat kinetic and "breathes" with the slightest movement of air. Tom's patience and skill produced photographs that exceeded my expectations and with which I am completely satisfied. I will absolutely be engaging Tom for future projects. read more
