Apparently when you have 2 people getting a massage in the same room, the two therapists have to work in "tandem" (per my therapist). Why, I don't know. Then the owner told me after that I should've know to tell her my request when booking because full body massage means that you have to include every part of the body and that this direction is "all over their website." I have no reason to buy anything there again. Oh, and they texted the morning of the massage to push our appointment out 1.5 hours with no apology.

I booked an appointment with Lauren for hair color ahead of my son's upcoming wedding, arriving on August 18th at 12:45 PM. Instead of getting my hair colored, I left just 20 minutes later feeling upset, with a sore scalp and a migraine. During the brief time I was in her chair, Lauren was rough, pulling my hair and repeatedly poking my scalp with her nails as she asked about my hair dye history (I used box dye, 6 months ago). The poking and pulling continued through the entire appointment. She never asked what I actually wanted or needed. Instead, she spent the entire time arguing and insisting that she would only do a root touch-up, knowing it wouldn't match my current hair, wouldn't cover my grays, and would leave a harsh color band. When I explained that wasn't going to work for me, that I wanted a cohesive look to blend my roots and cover grays, avoiding going darker or leaving a band, she became defensive, rude, and confrontational. The physical handling was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The tension was so bad that my husband came over to check on me, and everyone in the small salon could feel it. Another stylist eventually stepped in, essentially turning us away, which was a relief, as I no longer wanted Lauren's services. What should have been a simple salon visit turned into an unpleasant, unprofessional experience. If you are looking for good customer service, and technical skill, Lauren isn't the stylist for you. I STRONGLY advise booking with someone else!!

I manage to go through seeing colors, images and feeling vibrations in an eyes-closed setting on a comfortable massage table. Reiki treatment isn't for everyone but it works for me.
