ZERO STARS. These people are pill pushers, end of story. There is no care, no compassion and…read morecertainly no "management". You will be treated like a criminal and made to pee in a cup for a drug test each time you go in there, and they will NOT be able to explain why, other than it is "policy". It is demoralizing, degrading and dehumanizing, especially for an elderly person such as myself. Worst part is, I never got seen and they kept my money. Mercy in Ft. Smith has a very nice LEGITIMATE pain management center.

I have extremely painful arthritis in my knees and chronic pain throughout the rest of my body…read more When I first entered Dr. Casanova's office I was given a paper asking what medications I was in and allergic to. I honestly answered Hydrocodone and Zanax (although I no longer take those medications). The paper I filled out clearly stated Dr. Casanova prescribed those medications. After seeing him, he rudely stated that he did not prescribe either of those and would not write me a prescription for them. He was rude and condescending and frankly it seemed like he was looking down on me because I asked for and took those medications. The doctor I was currently using was getting ready to retire so I needed a new doctor. His name was given to me by a PA as a doctor who would prescribe these meds for me. Let me make it plain that I am not an addict just seeking these medications. I do and have valid medical reasons for taking them. Dr. Casanova did not even ask for the records from my current doctor who was leaving to be forwarded to him. It felt like he couldn't get me out of his office fast enough, and he was so unpleasant and rude that I was glad to go. I would not recommend him for any reason. There are many other caring doctors available and I didn't have any trouble finding one. My one question is this. If he doesn't offer these medications, why were they listed on his admitting application as medications he carried and prescribed. So even if I didn't need these particular medications, I would not recommend him based on his overall personality, horrible treatment to me as his patient and his refusal to even listen to my medical issues.
