I like that they allow you to hang your clothing up and kind of reserve dressing room especially when it's that busy good selection on designer brands, but could be because I am an extra small and so not a lot of people are extra small so I had a good selection. I'm not sure about the other sizes selection. Got a huge heavy bag of clothing for about $160 that I could barely carry to my car I needed help to carry it to my car. We are in town for some biking and camping and we saw the big red building off the highway on the way in. I was so excited to finally (try on) the overalls and pick out my first pair! The cold snap (and the fact we were winter camping) helped me land on a fleece lined pair. The absolutely LOVE them. I was between sizes and happily sized up so I can have layering options. They're like my favorite pair of snow bibs but cuter!! So, about the store. It was big, clean, and well organized. There was quite a bit on clearance when we were there, so I also grabbed some base layers.

I was in Fayetteville for a wedding and the dress I brought for the rehearsal dinner was too thin for the fall weather, so a friend recommended I check this place out. I didn't have a lot of time and I was skeptical because in my experience, similar boutiques rarely carry sizes and styles for curvy girls but Liz, the owner, was welcoming and extremely helpful. I enjoyed champagne while we pulled items for me to try on and after a couple of tries I found the perfect dress that I will wear a million more times. On top of that, all dresses were 25% off! They just opened about a month ago and the store is very cute, I love the decor and the layout feels very welcoming. Another impressive thing about 59th and 9th is that they have a plus size section, which I have never seen at similar style boutiques, but is much needed. As I was headed out Liz recommended I check out another new business next door that was having an open house, so not only was she helpful to me in her store, she is a good neighbor! There is something in the human psyche that loves to search and dig. This place satisfies that to…read morethe nth degree. Since about 90% of the stuff at "The GW Outlet" is junk, if you do find something special, you're clever indeed. Once you've found something to die for there, you're hooked! It takes a bit of getting used to--at first, the smell and the nothing-but-crap will be abhorrent. Then, you find "it" and you're absolutely certain there are plenty of "its" to search for. When you're digging around in the place, your troubles are miles away since you can only focus on the task at hand. The pricing is fabulous--by-the-pound--and the checkers are so friendly. At first, I was disgusted, but now I'd call myself "a regular"--the search (and the FIND!!!) is the best! Terrific people watching, too. Don't let your first impression stop you from this exercise in searching!

They also don't provide bags so be prepared to fill a cart and carry out. Clothes are weighed and cost around 1.50 a lb and housewares are about the same. Books are 50 cents and they have furniture and big stuff too. I have found a lot of nice, still tag on clothes here after sorting through along with a lot of good cookbooks and canvas art. Not sure how accurate their big scale is but it is still a good deal for everything you get.
