Best Chinese take out in Palm city! The fried rice is great and the shrimp lo mein is delicious!

My wife felt like eating Chinese food after our golf game so we decided to pick up some Chinese food at NY Chinese restaurant. We ordered a quart of Wonton Soup, my wife ordered the combination egg roll and Orange chicken. I ordered the egg roll combination Beef Lo Mein. The positive is the Wonton Soup and the egg rolls, the chicken and the beef were unfortunately super bland. We're still looking for a great Chinese restaurant in the Port St. Lucie area. read more

I don't know how anyone can leave a less than four star review here! My husband and I love it. My only suggestion would be to not get the Krab Rangoon as the time I did, it did not taste fresh. My husband and I choose this restaurant over any other Chinese place, every time. We like to get the orange chicken combo, which for a very reasonable price comes with a hefty portion of chicken, rice and an egg roll. I've brought my friends here and everyone likes it a lot. One of my friends got one of their noodle bowls and she told me she was shocked at how good it was. I would highly suggest this restaurant! But no krab rangoon if you know what's good for you. There are certain nights where Chinese food is a must. I moved some distance from this restaurant and have foolishly thought that I could find good Chinese food anywhere. There's not a Chinese restaurant in PSL or Jensen that is even a tenth as good as NY Chinese of Palm City. This restaurant is staffed by pleasant and nice staff, and serves amazingly delicious food at an affordable price. (The take out container are perfectly sized and reusable, and I usually always reuse them, high quality containers.) The food is always so fresh and delicious!!! They are especially good at chicken recipes. No restaurant within 200 miles comes close to the bar that they have set, and I have foolishly wasted my money testing most other restaurants north of NY Chinese. This is not really a dine in restaurant but they have tables to be extra courteous. Which is much better than the several restaurants I have visited that have caution tape around their tables and chairs because they don't have any patience at all with sit down diners. On the phone ordering from the restaurant is an extremely efficient procedure and I never have to spend more than 40 seconds on the phone. As a professional cleaner I noticed the small details, how even the door hinges are dust free, last time I was in here I was absolutely shocked how every book and cranny I could see was absolutely spotless, even the 1inch of the corner that no restaurant ever cleans as they usually can't mop in the very corner. From my view from the lobby I could see all polished and completely grease free stainless kitchen equipment, even the fume hoods spotless, and I saw smiley employees working diligently with excellent seemin communication in the back crafting up some the most delicious food I ever eat. You definitely have to ask especially for chopsticks though. Thank you NY Chinese for hundreds of delicious meals over the years and all the great memories. Nothing cheers up my wife as much as Chinese food from here. read more

We used to love this local spot but it's seriously gone downhill. The food is so bland. The "spicy" choices are also very mild. The dumplings are gummy. Very disappointing considering they're so close to home. I hope they turn things around but I'm not going back anytime soon. read more

Well, the first time I ordered from here was for work lunch. I work across the street. So I order 2 lunches and an appetizer. I pick up my order and get back to work to find one of my meals is not there. I call back. I'm frustrated because I now have to leave work again and go back so my manager can eat. The woman argues with me that I didn't order what I ordered. I literally read it off of a paper and repeated myself more than once while I was ordering. She tells me no you didn't order that, several times. I go back to get the food. She charges me full price. That is ridiculous. You inconvenienced my work day. Argued with me, first time customer, then charge me full price for your mistake. Now to be honest, the food was pretty good... But I can't overlook that terrible customer service. I will go to one of the many other Chinese restaurants in the area before I go here again. ***My manager has attempted to order several times. They open at 11. We called several times today and they didn't answer the phone until 1145am. She asked what happened and they can't understand you. They say they open now. Too bad I would need to order at the time you're supposed to open in order to get lunch during our lunch time. This establishment is a joke. Which is too bad. read more

This spot has horrible service. They are rudest group of people I've ever encountered and don't know how to communicate with customers. I ordered the ribs and they came back very rubbery and dry. I called to order a rib and Lo Mein combo and they said "no Lo Mein" and I said "I Order Lo Mein all the time from here" and the woman screamed over the phone "NO LO MEIN" and rudely hung up on me. The owners are nasty people. We try to support our local businesses but time after time when have to deal with their nasty attitudes. Today we ordered chicken and broccoli along with other items. We found the chicken hard to cut with a knife and when we looked inside the chicken was raw. We called up and the said to bring it back. First time we did takeout the food was delicious. My husband loved (and still does) a dish called "I don't know". My usual: egg drop soup, pork fried rice and bbq spareribs were great. Made even better by some fresh crispy noodles. However, second order was not up to speed for me.
