My (now) husband and I started lessons there to prepare a surprise salsa routine for our wedding first dance. We selected a song, and Alexi created the most incredible routine for us. We loved working with him, we had so much fun, and we really nailed that routine at the wedding! Our guests were so taken aback and three months later, still talk about it! We could not have done it without Fred Astaire and would recommend this studio for anyone wanting to learn a new dance style, but also for couples in general because it is a great experience to learn to dance with your partner!

I began at SNS at age 3, and I know many others who spent their childhood years here too. Without a doubt this school is unique and special. It's not just the best school in Westchester, Steffi Nossen also boasts a thriving foundation that seeks to bring dance to all people - regardless of personal circumstance. Their Moving Wheels and Heels program features adaptive dance for both stand up and wheelchair dancers. As a student at the school, I was able to work with this program. As a young woman, being able to not just hone my own technique, but also give back in such a fundamental way, was truly remarkable.
