She said it had huge gashes and needed it. I told her under no circumstances use an electric grinder on my knives. I dropped off my 4 Miyabi knives, very expensive stainless steel, and they got ruined. I paid so much attention in making sure they are in perfect condition, and within a few careless minutes, this person scratched and deformed them. I was a little hesitant to discover there wasn't a storefront, but that Andre the owner met me at the entrance to his building. He was so polite, and he understood when I asked him for a receipt before dropping off my babies. We decided he could take a photo of them and text acknowledgment of receipt that way. Two days later, he texted that they were ready. They look and feel great. He was able to repair the damage and bring them back to life. **. Be sure to agree on pricing before he begins work. It's a little confusing because the website prices are based on quantity. I originally thought it was $8 per knife, but it came to $10 per knife in the end.
