It's also a hardware, hiking and fishing supplies shop. In fact, I was impressed with the volume and kinds of fishing gear in stock. Of course, given the number of fishing access spots I passed, I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised. While I was there, the person ahead of me in the checkout line had an entire basket of groceries. She lived nearby and liked the convenience of not driving the several miles to Livingston or to Gardiner. I don't know if this place gives a discount to locals but given the number of tourists that were in and out of here, they likely could cut a break for nearby residents. Because it's located on the main road to the Park, you won't have to stray too far to pick up supplies, including the touristy stuff. And the people working here are nice and efficient.

They have all the huckleberry jams, candies, wine, beer, etc. that you could ever ask for. They sell postcards, patches that depict the state of Montana. They also have rather healthful foods here- granola bars, pancake mixes. The other side of the shop is all musical instruments! They have everything from mandolins to guitars, bass, and even a trumpet! They sell guitar strings, amp wires, capos, anything you need for your musical needs. I think they even had the sheet music to Merle Haggard's "Big City" about getting dropped off in the middle of Montana. The clerk was pleasant, but minded her own business as I poked around and weighed the different huckleberry options. It seems that when things get cold in this town, a hot jam (whether musical or huckleberry) will always spice things up! Parking was a bit challenging, this place is located on the main strip of Red Lodge, so it's only street-side parallel parking. The shop was ADA accessible, but had some narrow aisles.

We don't have these down in Texas. I guess our prices are cheaper in Texas by about a buck (plus!) a gallon. But you're not coming to West Yellowstone for the freedom-giving low gas prices are you? You're here for the wildlife. Expect high prices in the only civilization just outside some of the wildest countryside in the continental United States. The pumps afforded more than enough room for my goliath rented sports utility vehicle. Enough room to turn around! The pumps were well lit, clean and functioned properly. There's a convenience store here, but I didn't go in. I was most impressed with the graffiti on the fence by the pump that was hand signed by the artist! Vogue! I'd stop here again- it's located on a signalized hard corner with lots of great visibility and competitively priced petrol.

The station is clean and is your typical gas station - you can pump your own gas at all hours, it's got the window washing tool thingie with paper towel dispenser, and takes credit card. It's located directly across the street from the Days Inn. It actually wasn't the cheapest gas in West Yellowstone, but it was only like two cents more a gallon than the Chevron a few blocks over, so not a huge difference. I would give it five stars but this location doesn't have a Dino Mart like some of the other Sinclairs. But the dino is super cute!!!

They had a decent meat selection and a frozen food section, from frozen pizzas, breakfast items, tv dinners, and frozen veggies. I picked up meatloaf, frozen veggies and a box of Mac and cheese for dinner at my Airbnb. Alcohol.. decent variety including a walk in cold beer cave. We even got a Jack Daniel's and coke cocktail can. The prices aren't cheap so think of Whole Foods/ Harmons/ upscale grocery store prices. We got food for 4 days including milk, butter, yogurt, bread, meats, and cheese for $77. Overall it's a great place to get some supplies on your way to Yellowstone.

Todays event, involved me buying the wrong product. Before i left the counter and pointed it out, she started screaming at me like a mad woman. Telling me i should realize what i am buying before i buy it. The earlier incident last month was for the same type of situation. She blew her top because I inquired as to why the Coffee is always luke warm??? Difference being today, JO, literally grabbed misc. items of the shelfs and threw and hit me with them. This transaction and event took place on February 10th, 2023 at 11:56am MT-Time. I wish i had the contacts to secure and time stamp the instore video. Including gasoline me and my family spend $8000 to $10,000 a year at TJS. I get along with ALL the other employees. When i go into a business to do a transaction, I expect to be treated as a respectful customer. I'm doing nothing more than spending my hard earned money there. At times in the thousands of transactions i do every year, sometimes a mistake is made. As a professional in the customer service industry. I've never asked for more from JO, than whats described in her job description. And for a employee, with a History of being unable to control her emotion and resort to verbal screaming and physical assault, is far beyond the scope of her service duties and for reasons i don't know, crosses the line into "Something Personal".
