Nice & clean local grocery store. Prices were reasonable and they had everything I was looking for -- even organic fruit and veggies that I needed. Not a wide variety brand wise but you can probably get everything you need regardless. Some grab and go items as well as fresh baked goods. read more

For this being the only grocery store nearby our air bnb in Island Park I was truly surprised at how nice it was. This is for sure an upscale, clean, and impressive supermarket. Think of it as a local whole foods - you're going to find staples, some pre packaged foods, and a decent overall selection, but you're going to pay for it. This was my only qualm, and it's the same qualm I'd have at just about any grocery store in a tourist area - prices can be astronomical. I think I paid over $8 with tax for a small jar of mayo! The silver lining is at least it's a nice place to shop, so you feel slightly more justified in the cost? I'd recommend stocking up before you hit Island Park if you're vacationing here, but this store is nice, and it's great to have around if you need to pick up a few things while in the area. read more

The Chevron Gas Station at this location is the highest price for gas in this area. Like 50 to 60 cents a gallon higher

I understand that this is the only grocery store in the area but they should be ashamed of their prices. Visiting from the most expensive place in the country, this place is SUPER marked up. As a visiting captive audience you have no choice but to go there but for the community it is really a disservice. That being said, the selection is pretty good & you can find almost everything you need if you are willing to pay the price. I highly recommend bringing food from a bigger city with you if you can & stopping here for additional needs when staying in the area. read more

Formerly called Robins Roost Grocery. It's now called Sam Patch and located next to a Chevron gas station in Island Park. It's a small grocery store and I actually didn't have big expectations. Wow, they had everything I needed and then some. A decent produce section with apples, bananas, melons, good looking strawberries, herbs, potatoes, and more!! They had a decent meat selection and a frozen food section, from frozen pizzas, breakfast items, tv dinners, and frozen veggies. I picked up meatloaf, frozen veggies and a box of Mac and cheese for dinner at my Airbnb. Alcohol.. decent variety including a walk in cold beer cave. We even got a Jack Daniel's and coke cocktail can. The prices aren't cheap so think of Whole Foods/ Harmons/ upscale grocery store prices. We got food for 4 days including milk, butter, yogurt, bread, meats, and cheese for $77. Overall it's a great place to get some supplies on your way to Yellowstone. read more

Much needed and appreciated little grocery store to pick up travel essentials that are real food and not just gas station junk food (but they have those options, too!). They have a wide array of kombucha here, which I really appreciated. Clean restrooms straight back from the side entrance, fresh coffee station, even a separate counter to buy tobacco products. They've got an FAQ sign posted on the door so you don't have to walk in and not find what you're looking for (they don't sell lottery tickets or liquor). Clean and modern, looks brand new, friendly service. read more

This grocery store is conveniently Located if you're staying in island park and has all of the essentials. Now of course, you can anticipate paying a premium For your groceries here over large chain grocers but they're saving you a trip into town so it's worth it. The produce was a bit hit or miss on quality, some Items being over ripe or beginning to Rot. This may be due to the fact they entered the winter season already, and the are off the beaten path. Overall we were thrilled to have a grocery store nearby during our stay in the area. Nothing quite beats the convenience! read more

This is a very clean store, the cleanest we visited in the West Yellowstone/Island Park area. It is like a very mini version of a Vons or Albertsons...bigger than a camp store, but not nearly as big as the typical grocery store. Options were very limited, but you could get some version of all the basics. We did not realize the liquor laws were so different in the ID/MT/WY area compared to California, and didn't realize you couldn't but liquor in grocery stores. Sam's had wine/beer/spritzers, but very limited options. We were directed to drive 5-10 minutes down the highway for the closest liquor store. read more

Very nice small grocery store, they will have pretty much anything you are looking for while staying nearby. This is really the only close grocery store so if you are looking for something specific you might want to take a drive or bring it with you. The day we went in they were stocking shelves so there were some empty shelves and it was also before their busy season so that's understandable. If I'm in the area again we would stop in for basic groceries again. read more

Nice decent grocery with good produce. The grocery options on W. Yellowstone were mediocre and we were driving by and found this place. The produce was fresh and they had good options for other things without a crazy price. They had dairy items that we stocked up on as well as sweets. read more

For a store that is nearly in middle of nowhere, it has EVERYTHING to fill your fridge and some. Just be ready to overpay for your shopping. I was surprisingly also able to find a few items that were lactose free yay! read more

Great local store. It would be nice if they carried Name brands. Their generic brand does not always taste as good as Name brands. Also, they carry Kraft Man & Cheese, but not the Deluxe. My husband eats only the Deluxe Mac and Cheese from Kraft. I order from Amazon, now. read more

Great place for anyone staying near by. I think it would be a benefit for the store to offer more options of prepackaged meals to cook for those staying at vacation rentals or camping. Also, more meat selections would be amazing. Vegetable selection was good, our garlic and onions were rotten inside, but you wouldn't know it by the outside. Can't blame the store for this. There are a lot of opportunities for this place to be amazing when it comes to the selection of prepared meals and snacks! Otherwise it was a great little place that met our needs. read more

An "island" within Island Park this mid-size market offers quite a range of grocery items. While there is no butcher counter, frozen chicken and frozen meats are available. As the facility is densely packed, it gets a bit crowded at times. Fresh produce is a big plus. A very convenient assistance desk provides boat and fishing licenses, invasive species stickers and other helpful services (for licenses use cash or pay additional fee for credit card payment). I think you will find practically all you need at this friendly "island". read more

Stayed in start of Island Park only 3 minutes away from this quaint Grocery store. It may be small but it has everything you could possibly need for a stay in a nearby Airbnb. We found enough snacks, alcohol, and meal ingredients for everything we needed. I caught a cold on our last few days and they had a decent variety of over the counter drugs and cough drops to make me comfortable. Good collection of grocceries. It was difficult to find some stuff and the gas station was pretty neat and clean especially due to COVID.

We always stop here on our way to Redrock RV Park, which is absolutely beautiful!! Fishing license, ice cream cones, ice, small produce area, fire wood, propane, smore makings, snacks etc. Great little store, it is the only one for miles. Love the knotty wood on the exterior. read more

There's a little short-order grill in the back. Your cook is Linda Harris. She's great! The special was a cheeseburger with fries or tater tots and a refillable drink for $5. The burger was large and loaded, and the fries were crispy (not blonde). It was excellent, and and excellent deal! We will definitely eat there again when in the neighborhood. read more

When you stop and think about this place is awesome. They have way more than a c-store. They are open year round even when tourism drops off. They keep a great selection of groceries at very fair prices. Fresh produce is always excellent. They even have a selection of fresh meat which is pretty darn good. Their cafe has decent food- freshly made all day. A real nice addition to this somewhat remote area. Very good beer and wine selection and too many choices of fabulous ice cream. read more
