Brava Brava! Bravo Bravo!
Wow! Beautiful from start to finish. Be sure to dress formal!
This majestic Opera is a wonderful place to spend a Friday night. In Chicago, you'd easily pay three or four times as much for the same seats and experience here.
The Entrance is across the street from the cafe and the bridge, so don't let your driver take you around the building. Just get out right where the tram stops and go in on the north side.
Go early so you can attend the cash bar before the open and gawk at all the well dressed attendees and wander through the outer circle to see photos from previous shows and to find the water closets for intermission.
The interior is gorgeous, and the seating for both the boxes and the floor are easy to figure out, which I greatly appreciated.
The show itself was a modern take on a classic, and though some of the stage props weren't what I would choose, the sheer number of amazing singers was more than enough to satiate my desire for a very wide range of octave talent.
I'd happily go back without question.
