The first time was about 8 years ago, when he helped me put an end to a long dental nightmare. My troubles began with some botched cosmetic dentistry by my regular dentist, which lead to infection in my jawbone that would ultimately require the removal of 4 front teeth, bone grafting, 2 dental implants and placement of a bridge where my 4 teeth had been. I had consultations with 3 of the top periodontists in the area prior to having all this work done. I selected Dr. Kazemi because he has such great credentials and I found him to be a very caring professional. He showed genuine concern for my situation, and his calm and caring demeanor put me at ease. I experienced no pain during this extensive work and great follow up care too from him and the office staff to make sure my recovery was going well. I recently need another tooth extraction, bone grafting, and implant. I chose Dr. Kazemi again even though he was not an "in network" periodontist and I knew I was going to get very little, if any, reimbursement from my dental insurance provider. Once again, I received excellent care from Dr. Kazemi and his staff. What an excellent periodontist and great staff! Highly recommended!!!

I arrived for my appointment about 15 minutes early and was "finished" by the time my original appointment was supposed to start. It took more time for me to check in and take off my coat than it took for the hygienist to "clean" my teeth. She didn't even bother to polish every tooth -- I guess the back of every third one counts. I was also told not to come back unless I would agree to a deep cleaning. Considering the non-existence of a regular cleaning, I can only guess how shallow the deep must be. Guess the search for a good dentist continues.

The hygienist also shamed me for my facial/oral fashion choices and spoke to me as though I was not a full-grown adult who knew the risks associated. What I can say is that the front desk staff were kind and helpful and the hygienist did do a great job cleaning my teeth. However, if you have some shame around your dental health or are sensitive about the way you are treated in medical settings I'd look elsewhere.
