We both ordered the Caldo Gallego soup, which was excellent. We were planning to split either the empanada or the croquettes, asked the waiter a couple of questions then settled on the croquettes. Waiter brings us the empanada. I mention that we ordered the croquettes, but he protests and shows me where he wrote empanada, which was proof it was my fault, right? Hardly. But the empanada looked really good I told him that this was fine. Towards the end the meal he then brings us croquettes. I appreciated his effort to make things right, but I did not ask for them and we did not eat them, which garnered a look of disappointment when he took away the plates. Worst part was that he charges us for the croquettes, which I had to call the manager over to have removed.
4 stars for the food, which was really good, minus 1 for the service. read more
