I was caught on Lidar traveling 83 mph in a 55 mph zone in Lowell, but against all odds, I won my…read moreappeal in traffic court, all thanks to Mr. King. I called various law practices in search for the right lawyer. Some other lawyers I called made brief mention of how tricky my case would be, but then repeatedly emphasized their high overall success rate in traffic court instead of discussing my specific case, and I got the feeling I was speaking to a salesperson rather than someone who would have my best interests in mind. Instead, on our initial phone call, Mr. King listened carefully to the details of the case. I knew I could trust him when, instead of trying to push me into paying for his services, he candidly discussed how he would be able to help and the different reasons why the case would be quite difficult to win, with or without his help. Mr. King had me meet with him in person so we could discuss in greater detail my side of the story and what he would be able to do to help. He was as honest as possible in helping me understand what the cost of his services were, and what the benefits of his representation would be, so that I could then decide if it would be worth it. He was clear that I didn't have much of a legal argument at my disposal, and the best I could hope for was the clerk's sympathy and leniency given my otherwise clean driving record. Given that he teaches several courses at UMass Lowell Law School and that Lowell is his home court, Mr. King was also able to explain in detail the inner workings of the Lowell district traffic court and his track record with similar cases. All this information and advice was shared before the signing of any contracts or checks, which further convinced me that Mr. King truly had my best interests in mind and was not just trying to sell his services no matter what. I was deeply impressed by Mr. King's honesty, professionalism, expertise, and clear communication, so I decided to go ahead and enlist his help. I couldn't be happier that I did, and I think the outcome of the case speaks for itself!

No Attorney would take the case until my cousin found Attorney Paul Brennan. Attorney Brennan, was open and upfront about the process and said that he would do the best towards a positive outcome. My uncle, who is blind and lives alone and on a fixed income was very distraught in thinking that he would have to mortgage his house to pay the law suit. There are no words to say how aggressive Attorney Paul Brennan worked, he left no stone unturned, he went through all of the documentation and found that one thing that not only saved my uncles home but the payout was something that was manageable for my uncle. We gave Attorney Brennan a retainer which he then refunded my uncle a portion of the retainer back. There are Great Attorneys out here and Paul Brennan is one of them. I will always praise him for a job well done. You made our family happy again. I would recommend you to anyone who needs help. Rosalie

She completely ghosted us in between court dates, failed to file any motions that our party requested, represented our party very poorly in court, went against our party's wishes/best interest and would communicate with other parties behind our backs, and seemingly refused to document or accept any documentation given to her regarding this case. Absolutely worthless as a legal professional. Horrible advocate for her clients and their children- she was about as useless as a white crayon. We had to essentially become our own lawyers as her legal advice could be summarized by the phrase, "I don't know, let me get back to you," or "I'll discuss it later" ... Of course there was never any followup. Thank god she quit her job in the middle of handling our case, we were met with an excellent lawyer following the nightmare that was dealing with her. If you want your case stalled and delayed for 2-3 years, please, hire her as your lawyer!

She let crucial issues slip, she forgot imperative details, she rarely followed through in a reasonable timeframe, and I don't think she ever took a single note because more than half of the things we agreed on regarding strategy were completely lost on her and she moved forward with her own agenda. I've worked with attorneys professionally for my entire 20+ year career and I've never witnessed such lack of dedication to clients' welfare or best interest. She made no effort to formulate a big picture strategy and seemed to be over her head with basic interpretation of the law. I wouldn't say that she's lacking integrity. I would just say she's overwhelmed, disorganized, lacking professional knowledge, a poor listener/communicator, and not interested in the smaller things that get you to the finish line victoriously. She's more interested in just getting things finalized.
