While she listened to our requests and agreements with one another and helped make those things possible, she was also honest about what the judge may or may not like to see. This ensured that our agreements was something the judge would be more likely to approve. She was very easy to work with. One thing I was not as prepared for was the costs outside the sessions themselves. I…read morehad no idea how anything worked in the court because I was never arrested and instead of making the process easier she made it a nightmare. She didn't know the law and I believe she talked to the lawyer for the other side because the day we went to court they parroted each other and said the same bs line. She didn't try to get any charges taken off or cut down to a lesser charge. I didn't want to plead guilty but she was yelling at me in court to plead guilty because she didn't like the way people were looking at her for representing me. She even asked me if I saw the way everyone was looking at her. I was like are you serious? She should have done the right thing and given me back my money to go somewhere else if she felt she couldn't represent me in good faith. I wish now I had just taken a court appointed lawyer. She didn't even know the law in Massachusetts not allowing people to be tape recorded under any circumstances. Tape recording can not be used in Massachusetts because it's against the law to record someone. The highest court got a case about this very thing and said under no circumstances can it be used and she was oblivious to this fact. Then she scolded me like a child telling me to take responsibility for what I did because I asked her if I could take back my guilty plea because I was under duress. I was crying while she was yelling in my face to just plead guilty which shes not supposed to do. In my opinion an attorney should not talk to people the way she spoke to me. If you want 7k you should at least work for it. She also never told me I was being put on trial the day we went to court she said it was to try to get something thrown out and I get there and I'm blind sided when all of a sudden I'm on trial and the judge was asking me how I plead. She pulled multiple dirty tricks on me and she should choose another profession.
