The cons: You get what you pay for and the quality of many of our pictures were not as good as the ones taken by friends and family. I wasn't even looking in our big group photo with our dog and the whole bridal party and I wish Stephanie, our photographer would have been a bit more mindful. There were also some other images that the lighting seemed really over exposed. It was raining so I will say her options of staging were slightly limited. We had to complete a long form on the website stating which pictures we wanted, songs we wanted to hear, and anything we didn't want played. The form is user friendly but the site is slow and the process took a really long time. The pros: The music was amazing! I mean, we picked it most of it out but Caleb also did his own thing for cocktail hour and we got a ton of compliments on the music. He also kept the night flowing and everyone on track. And while we might not have gotten every picture we wanted, we still got quite a few priceless ones. Also the photo booth customization choices for pictures are another plus!

You get the picture (horrible pun not intended). For this year's Pride (2014), I was given an amazing space on the patio, nestled in between the DJ, the dancefloor, and the drinks. I just *had* to do something fun. I thought -- what better way to remember such a fun night than with a great photo booth? I had seen The Awesomatic's ads in my Facebook feed (you know, the ones with Jeni's head popping out), so I decided to shoot them an email. Lo and behold, they were free the Friday night of Pride, and they were happy to accommodate me. After a few back and forth emails with the owner, Levi (who I'm pretty positive I've called Eli... sorry!), we had a plan for the Pride photo booth. Levi was super laid-back and easy to work with. In fact, I was the hot mess customer who was slow to answer emails and kept asking them if they could stay longer at the event -- but they handled it all beautifully. If you've never seen The Awesomatic, let me tell you -- it's no ordinary photo booth. This one's magical. Why, you ask? It's not the super creative backdrops they can make, or the crazy friendly staff, or even the designs they can print directly on the photos... nope, it's the machine itself that really makes the magic happen. The Awesomatic is a free-standing computer/camera combo where you can see yourself before the picture is taken! In other words, you and your friends can get in the silliest poses and look amazing in your pictures -- because you know exactly how you'll look before photo is ever taken. It's a big, digital screen that you control yourself -- when you take the picture and how many you take. Once you've taken the best new profile picture, you'll get a printed photo and will later have access to it digitally. There's just something about The Awesomatic that encourages people at your event to have fun. I absolutely cannot wait to hire them again! True Believers is just that, they truly believe in the service that they deliver and the experience that they provide and it shows. From the moment my husband and I met this AMAZING pair we knew they were who we wanted to do business with. We were never pressured or pushed into giving them a decision before we were ready and that made all the difference to us. These days it's rare to find someone or a team who love their craft and this couple right here sure does! They were an amazing display of a long lost classic work ethic and taking pride in what you do. Their focus was making sure we were happy!!! So much so, they were thinking farther ahead than I was (imagine that a frantic bride not thinking). They went out of their way to call us prior to the date to finalize everything one last time. Rich arrived early, set up quickly, and gave every one of my guests however many photo strips they wanted. I have never seen more crisp and clear photos in a photo strip before.
