I had the misfortune of attending a wedding that procured "Your Traveling Bartenders"... the line was around the corner. It took the entire cocktail hour... literally an hour to get up to the bar. My family and the back part of the line missed the bride and groom introduction and some of the speeches waiting for "Your Traveling Bartender" to get us our first drink. When we finally arrived at the bar we discovered that the bartenders were ill equipped to be Bartending anywhere. They had notes of how to make the four basic cocktails that were being offered... fine, but then they were sooo slow on making the drinks! Everyone in the line around me was snickering, saying any of us could make these drinks without directions and 10 times faster... they did not even think to pre pour wine or pre batch cocktails for guests to drink that might shorten the line... it didn't matter if you wanted water, a beer, wine, or a cocktail they had one line. Everyone had to wait to be server. They should have dedicated one server to proofing easy drinks like wine, beer and water. That would have been an easy way to reduce the line. I run a staffing company in a different state and am utterly mortified for my friends who's wedding this happened to. If you are considering using this service, don't walk, run AWAY. Hopefully this was a one-off terrible event for them. But due to the lack of any Bartending skills both of the two "Traveling Bartenders" had, plus the lack of supply's and preparation, I would say this truly reflects on the company willing to put anyone behind a bar. read more

Beware! Communication was awful to begin with which should have been our first clue. We hired Charity and we paid for two servers. We had a signature drink made from warm cider, as well as regular cider as a non-alcoholic beverage. They brought 8 gallons of cider (what she told me) so one server had to leave to go get more. Since this was at Malabar Farm in Lucas, Ohio stores are not close by and the server was gone for quite some time. Then we were to have champagne toasts. She was told this would happen during the dinner. As mother of the bride, I went to tell her they were ready to give the toast. She was not ready and asked for three minutes. She had two guests pouring the champagne for her. During the wedding, five people saw her taking shots. She asked the groom and bestman in they wanted to go behind the bar, but later told me that they were behind the bar and wouldn't leave. (This was after I complained to her that she had come to us to tell us that there were three hours left and we were more than half way through the alcohol and did we want them to go buy more. I later found out that she was "generous" with her pouring: something she promised that she would watch the drinkers and not allow people to have too much.) When I told the groom and bestman they couldn't be behind the bar, they left. Three people reported her making out with her boyfriend behind the bar. But it gets worse! She asked the bride if she wanted to sell any of the decorations and stuff to her. My daughter told her no. Later she asked the bride if she could have two of the flower arrangements from the tables. My daughter said she could have two. Later my daughter and I were outside when she walked out with two of the flower arrangements and got in my daughters face, slurring her words and thanking her for the flowers. She was drunk. When she went back in the other bartender came out with empty bottles to put in their car. I told her he needed to take care of his drunk girlfriend and he said he would handle it. When I came inside she came up to me aggressively and said that she heard I had a problem. I proceeded to tell her the reason we were running out of alcohol was because she was heavy handed with her pouring and shared my other complaints. She continued to argue with me until I walked away. It still gets worse! As we were cleaning up some of the tables for people that were leaving she grabbed the box from me and said that was her job. I said no it wasn't, the contract was just to pick up empty bottles. She grabbed the box and said no she would do it. She started taking the white lights from the wine bottles that were table decorations, the white votive lights at the table, etc. She also started taking both full and empty mason jars that we had bought for each guest. I stopped her and said the guest were taking the mason jars home and to leave them on the table. She said that they were behind the bar and they could get them if they wanted them and walked away. Shortly later, my sister saw them take a box of mason jars to their car. I went to their car and the other bartender was there loading more stuff. We had words and he told me he had just been hired for this event and didn't know. He opened the car door and told me to get whatever was mine. Not only did I find the one box of mason jars but two others that had never been used, a 160 count of gold silverware that had not been used, our extra dinner and dessert plates, two gold pumpkins we had bought for decorations, a "cheers" brass sit-around decoration, at least 5 bundles of the table flowers, a box of markers, tape, lights, etc. , and the bridal bouquet that was used for the toss to single girls. When I took that bouquet to the girl that had caught it, she said to me, "I have been looking all over for that. The bartender told me a little girl had taken it." She also had our ceramic pitcher on the floor behind the bar with her things. Obviously we called the police and my daughter's wedding had this to end the evening. My daughter was devastated and crying at the end of her wedding, asking her father and I to get her out. read more

So from start to finish the service I received was excellent. I contacted Charity very last minute to see if we could get someone to bartend at my dads 60th birthday. She was immediately responsive and called to ask what our needs were for the night and offered suggested drinks and mixers. She also discussed other services the company could provide to help with our party planning. In hindsight if we had not already had a photographer in place we would have taken the recommendation. Shaunte took care of us that night and was great. She texted us to let us know she was en route, she was on time and assisted us in carrying the pre purchased spirits from our truck into the venue. Once she got started she hit the ground running in setting up and attending to arriving guests. She was awesome and such a nice disposition. She even stayed for an additional requested hour. She completely broke down and followed up with us the next day. We do not regret using this company and hope to use them for future events and certainly to tell friends :-) read more

We hired charity to help us with our son's graduation party at the VERY LAST minute when we realized it was going to rain. Charity and Josh came early in the morning fully loaded with tents and tables and helped us organize the food and seating to maintain an intentional flow and reduce overcrowding... and my panic about moving what I had envisioned to be an outside party to an inside/outside party. Drinks were fine and staff was very friendly! Photo booth was reasonably priced, lots of props and fun! The only area for improvement was the need to purchase nonrefundable tickets to use as currency for drinks. Also, water was not free which was odd for a an alcohol-serving bar.
