I had a great time here: we never waited to order, staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, and the space is huge. There were five adults and two toddlers--it was awesome that the kids could be kids and be loud and run around and us adults not have to worry. The pizza was good: very thin crust and lots of flavor. We showed up on a Friday night and it wasn't crowded but it was definitely a place with a lot of energy. We ordered a drink and a pizza and some garlic bread. Yes it was too much food. It took about 45 minutes maybe for the pizza to come out which is long but you have to realize how popular and good their pizzas are. I did hear they are building a new kitchen. So the pizza comes out on thin crust and it was a WOW pizza. It had a very great flavor but... the problem is... the garlic cheese bread was even better. My wife said we should have gotten more of that. They were both amazing. We sat at the bar and was well taken care of. I highly recommend this place. read more

Anyone over the age of 8 that wears a baseball hat backwards should not be trusted with customer service. I know this is a generalization, but the two hipster doofuses working behind the bar tonight did everything in their power to prove this as fact. I felt sorry for the 40 something woman that was working circles around this goofy pair. If the 2 dinks were the least bit cognizant of body language and eye contact, they would have realized she was staring daggers into their souls every time they ignored a customer or spun in a circle. They need waitresses! If you have more then 3 individuals in your party it is a pain to get up each time someone needs a drink or food. The food and beer were very good! We stopped at the brewery on the way up to Tomahawk area. We had the light jalapeno beer and the amber style beer. Both were really good. First time here, it was easy to find, and has a fun atmosphere. No waitstaff to tables, you order and pick up at the (large-central) bar. We ordered two pizzas, a blackberry sour, and honey hefe for four people. The pizza is the best I have had in the area around Stevens Point. Kind of a weird mall location, but the space was very cool. Nice large bar. Did not eat, but plates coming out looked great. We sat at the bar and, after reviewing the beer menu asked for a couple of samplers. The bartender snottily said, "only one per person." She offered no information about their beers or guidance as to what we might like. We visit craft breweries all over the country and have never run into this. Most are excited to talk about their beers, provide samples and help you zero in on your favorites. The advantage is we often have one or two at the bar and buy beer to go. O'so Brewing missed that opportunity since we only got to try one beer. The beers we had were good, but based on the staff experience, we wouldn't return. We were very disappointed the minute we walked in. It was very busy which is good for them. We thought the pizza was bland and heard it was homemade. Definitely not a homemade crust. We also had the brew pass book and they did it different than any other brewery. Ended up giving the token to someone else. Long story. Also parents had no control over their kids. They were playing chasing games. Hard to enjoy yourself with all the noise. I could see why because one of the "fathers" preceded to kick the game my granddaughter was playing and knocked out the circles. Won't be back! read more

O'So is OsoGood! Probably not the first person to come up with this line and probably not the last. If you are a fan of sour beers, O'So is the brewery for you! Sixteen sours on tap! Really their whole tap line is incredible. They have great options for those who aren't into sours as well as a solid guest tap list. On my way there, I wondered where google maps was taking me because O'So is located in a strip mall. Caught me a bit by surprise but definitely plenty of room for parking. Be sure to check out their beer menu to learn the story of the start of O'So. Great business, comfortable atmosphere. Wide selection of beer on tap. They also have a restaurant, O'so Amore, with sandwiches and pizza. It's a very big space, where they have bands play from time to time as well as a gigantic visualizer screen to watch sports. The service is always quick and polite, even when it's busy. read more

The order here with mostly new customers was last for service every one at the bar was given refills before they even got to the line. Finally got beer it was flat and tasted soapy. I'm a broken record when it comes to stouts. A couple years ago, I had all but sworn off sours. And then I was out numbered on a road trip and "forced" to stop here. And let me tell you! O'So made me a believer and I'm a better person because of it. (More adventurous, less brooding, etc.) They really knock it out of the park on sours and I'm willing to bet they have something to please every palette. It would be irresponsible of me not to mention that while sours are their "thing," they also run a solid stout game. In fact, I stopped in recently on my way to another brewery's stout release/ party and picked up a few bottles of their latest stout releases. And I was actually more excited about the O'So bottles than the bottles I drove up there for in the first place. That's really a hook, line and sinker in terms of my loyalties. I recommend trying one of their sample trays- I believe you can select up to ten short pours. I especially recommend this option because their white board doesn't offer descriptions of their beers, just the names. And yes, there are menus at the bar with those descriptions and the bartenders are great resources, but on a bus day, it can be tough to get up to the bar. I think the dry erase boards have a certain charm, but it's worth a mention. read more

Rainy Memorial Day weekend visit and the place was packed. Great beers, kid friendly and good food.

After hitting up another brewery in the area, we decided to visit O'so too since we'd be driving through Plover on our way back home. We checked the website to see if they had a tour, but it didn't appear that they did so when we arrived we just ordered a couple of beers and sat down in the tap room to try them. When looking back over the website later I saw that we missed the tiny paragraph about tours on the Taphouse tab. We were definitely at the brewery when they were scheduled to happen (1 and 2 PM on Saturdays), but the bartender made no mention of a tour and we didn't see anyone taking one. Such a bummer to have been there at the right time but have no clue it was happening. After downing multiple pours at the previous brewery, I opted for a pint of my old post-college favorite, The Big O (an orange wheat), and a sample of the Milkstache milk stout. The Big O definitely tastes best on draft, and was a nice refreshing summer afternoon beer. I loved the Milkstache and wish I had gotten a full pour of that instead (though I was so full I probably wouldn't have finished). Samples are pricey at $2.25 and $3 for non-O'so beers; just bite the bullet and get a full pour for $4.50/5 to share with friends if you can't finish. As for ambiance, the tap room is in a strip mall and while nice, it is super dark inside. We were there on a sunny summer afternoon and it felt like it was 7 PM from how dim it was. Drinking beers in the dark makes me super sleepy, so we headed out after our first round. All in all, it was an a-ok experience and I'm looking forward to checking out their new space another time once it's completed. They've purchased 20 acres of land and foresee a large space with disc golf, kick ball, and a taproom with food. Their beer is good, so I'm excited for them to have a space that's more of a destination and a more unique experience than what now feels like just drinking in a suburban bar. read more

We frequent this business quite often, and have been for the past 10 years. We've started coming to their new location with our kids which we love because its spacious and they have great pizza. Three different times now the owner has come up to us and "scolded" our family for various things. Our 6 year old walked up the stairs to meet her dad by herself, the kids " were not playing near us"(during live music, they were dancing right next to us) and I get the vibe that the owner just doesn't like kids. Our kids are well behaved, respectful and it's sad to think that such a beautiful space with great beer is going to deter a family like ours because they don't prefer kids in their space. There are many indicators that they are family friendly, but they have very clearly not been friendly to our family. read more

First it is the O'so Tap House you are going to. You get in and it's decent size all high tops except the picnic table in the back. The beer list is a mix of their own and guests beers from other breweries. Their own beer is less cost than guests but it is nice they have sample sizes. The beer is just ok. We tried 3 darks from them and a light from them, and a light from Milwaukee Brewing but still they were just ok. We didn't finish most of them and walked out. read more

First, your beer creations are great! In fact, they're Oh So Great! I've been to your Plover location and it's a very cool place. However, I'm not surprised you had to close the Madhouse in Madison. I went there a few times, and again, great beer and a nice little taproom. The bartender was friendly and was quite good at his job, paying attention to all the customers. A couple times when I was there he kept the bar open well after closing, never made last call so my friends and I thought it just stayed open longer on the weekend. It's a bummer you had to close the Madison location, but I'll stop in when I'm in Plover! The five stars are as many as they'll let me give! read more

Disappointed by what we found at Steven's Point Brewery, I set the GPS for O'so and found a nice brew-pub in what looked like a pretty new strip mall. This was just what we were looking for, a place to try local beers. I would go back here any time. We were treated like they wanted us there and they are clearly passionate about what they are making. Ms T went straight for the 95 IBU Hop Whoopin' and I had the Dominator Dopplebock. We enjoyed both. They both showed complexity, depth and balance that we look for. They have a nice selection and clearly know what they are doing. Our bar tender was a nice guy. He patiently answered our questions and was friendly and knowledgeable. You would think they would get tired of explaining the beers over and over again but he didn't seem to mind. If I lived in Steven's Point, this would be my place. We got a couple of glasses as souvenirs and headed to El Mezcal for dinner. read more

Nice place... Looks brand new, not from the area so I'm not sure. Anyhoo, all types of beer on tap, all from the state of WI (from what I understand) which I love. Have only seen that same concept at in Denver, CO (Colorado+ Brew Pub). No food, but I great place to grab a beer or three. People are nice, bartenders are good and knowledgeable. Had the Hop Whoopin', Rusty Red on Nitro & the Mutiny IPA (I'm a bit of a Hop Head). All were good and very enjoyable. All around a sweet brewery/tasting room experience where I didn't expect one. Great tap house in Plover Wi ! This place had a good crowd of folks on a Thursday night and live music to boot ! It was a bit loud for conversation but as more people showed up and filled the tables the singers somehow softened their sound and it all worked well we tried a few different samples for 2 bucks each and settled in with a few pints of their Rusty Red beer did not have any food so no comment there the first time here was last fall and we did the tour which are held on Saturday only highly recommend the tour the owner was our tour guide great passion! One of the most intriguing breweries I've ever been too. Insane sours and wild ales on tap. It's cool to see a brewery doing such a crazy amount of sours. From tarts to sweets. It was very amazing. I'm excited I stopped here on the way out of my brew tour! They have everything for anyone and you won't be disappointed from a Malty Boozy beer, IPAs, or Stouts. Even has sweet swag ! Nice relaxing stop on a road trip. Really casual. We felt comfortable bringing our toddler, and there were other kids there, too. Dogs are also welcome. I don't drink beer, so I can't speak to the taste, but my husband liked it. There were many on tap that they make themselves, as well as other local breweries. Seemed like a good variety and some interesting sours. I ordered cream soda, but it came in a bottle and was so gross I didn't drink it. They don't have a food menu, but you can bring in your own. We had a picnic lunch we brought with us. They also have low seating available, nice alternative to bar seating. read more

So they just opened this new space and its amazing. The tap room has 40 draft beers available every day. The beers are not limited to just their own which is interesting for small brewery. They had selections from all over WI and they knew just as much about the other beers as their own. Also, the fact that the beers were $3.50 each was amazing. The staff were beyond friendly and the owner and his wife were mingling with the patrons while I was there. They were very interesting and explained a great deal about the WI beer business I never would have imagined. Definitely a place you must stop in if you're in the area. read more

Took a day trip with a couple of friends as we wanted to take the brewery tour there. The brewery is not very big but it's similar to other craft breweries that I've been too. The tour was great. Our tour guide didn't spend too much about the normal beer making process, just how they make their beer and bottle it. I always like hearing about the history of the brewery and why it got started and that wasn't really covered much. My inner six-year old self was entertained as well as they have tanks that were painted with the faces of Barney the Dinosaur, Big Bird, and Oscar the Grouch. The tap room is great. It's a very long bar and is very modern. If you've never been to this brewery, I recommend getting the sampling tray. With 40 beers on tap it's kind of hard to choose just one. The tray has 10 open spots and you just write the beer you want and the bartenders will fill up small glasses and put it on that spot. It costs $2 for a O'so sample and $3 for any other craft beer. O'so is known for making sour beers which I'm not too familiar with. I ordered six sours. Some were really good and others were....well...sour. Infectious Groove and Scarlet Letter were my top two choices for the sour selection. read more

Great stop along 51 if you're cruising by. O'so experiments with a wide variety of SOURS that they sample in their tap room. Some are hit and some miss. This place was a good find! As an IPA fan, they had several selections to choose from. Bartender seemed a bit angry to be there, hence the reason for the 4 stars. We would order a drink and he would take off, no smile, barely said anything. But other than that we were impressed. Were there on a Saturday night and were able to enjoy some live music which was also a nice touch! If we end up in that area again, we will most likely be back! read more
