When I think of O2B kids Midtown I think of the quote,"We are a rainbow of possibilities." I have had the pleasure of seeing this company blossom from a handful of locations to being a large corporation. What I admire as a business owner, previous employee and current parent is that no matter how large they grow, how many locations they have or what the current circumstances of the economy are they have not forgotten the roots and foundation of why they started the company in the beginning. They do not take advantage of families. Their communication is amazing. When you walk into O2B midtown your are always greeted by happy faces with Tori or King. They acknowledge you by name and your child, compliment you, ask you how you are, ask you how your day went or simply lend a smile. This goes a long way because some days their smile, positivity or compliment is the only one I see or hear because of the line of work I do. Then your teachers are beyond the words amazing. Sita and Layna have loved my daughter like she was their own. Sita was able to catch that something was wrong with my daughter one day even after the doctor saw her. The doctor told me she had nothing. Sita expressed her concerns due to small minimal changes she noticed in my daughter and she was right! My daughters inner ear tubes were causing a infection due to an allergic reaction. Sita helped prevent her heart drum from rupturing. In today's world it is very easy to lose that eye to eye, soul to soul, verbal and nonverbal body language connection, but not at Midtown. My daughter is beyond happy everyday to go to school and sad when she leaves which speaks volumes. Their director Lieba is by far one of the KINDEST, HUMBLE most GENEROUS souls I have had the pleasure of meeting. She is the true definition of servant leadership and leading by example.Thank you to all of O2B Kids Midtown especially Lieba. As a single and extremely long houred working mom it brings me so much peace and joy everyday to know that when I drop my daughter off she is being safe, cared for,loved, educated, valued , appreciated, inspired and uplifted to be her genuine self. I would like to Nominate Mrs. Myrtis and give her a shout out! As a Senior Preschool teacher, her goal is to prepare children for Kindergarten. However, Mrs. Myrtis' love for education pushed her students a lot further. She creates a path to greatness. With my daughter, I can personally attest that she really brought her out of her shell. My daughter is an only child, and during the year, I watched my timid baby become a sharing, playful, and INCLUDED little girl. She even found a best friend. As a parent, this made my heart smile. I could work with ease knowing my daughter was in great hands. On an educational level, Mrs. Myrtis took the skills I had begun at home to a wider scope. My child was recognizing bigger words and expanding her vocabulary well before the end of the year. Lastly, I want to highlight how special she made each child feel. I have to give a huge shout out to Ms. Myrtis with the Midtown location. Since our start with Midtown two years ago, I knew there was something different about her class, as they were the most well behaved and organized. I fought to get my daughter in her class for VPK and boy, am I glad I did! Not only does she provide the exceeding expectations of the VPK education, she prepares the kids for the very real expectations of kindergarten. She sets the kids up to succeed with that challenging transition. Not to mention, my child no longer cries every morning going to school since getting her class. Instead, she is excited. I am very pleased with the quality of care my daughter receives at O2B kids Midtown. She is welcomed by first name each day and truly enjoys coming to school. Her teachers are loving and attentive and helped her with potty training within the first three weeks of attending! The director of the center, Lieba Gouin has been a valuable resource to our family and helped us to feel confident with our toddler's transition to her center, her personable demeanor and knowledge of early childhood development makes her a valuable part of all that Midtown has to offer! I would highly recommend O2B Kids Midtown for your child's needs. My daughter started attending in Kindergarten and I was so grateful as a working parent their bus would provide transportation from school onsite. She's had the opportunity to meet new friends outside of school and build new relationships. Summer Camp is filled with fun themes each week and lots of field trips for the kids to explore fun as well learning opportunities.
