One Health Ohio - Falls Family Care Review of Dr. Cubbison…read more (5 stars) I can say without hesitation that this review is for Dr. Cubbison only not for One Health Ohio, and that is because first of all One Health Ohio would get about a star maybe a star and a half, long waiting periods make you think that you're forgotten about and one time my wife and I just walked out we had other places to be and they were cutting into that time frame by not seeing us on our scheduled time but because of that I am only reviewing Dr. Cubbison for the simple fact that he is the best doctor I have ever had the privilege of seeing and visiting with. In a world where medical care can often feel rushed, impersonal, or transactional, he stands out as a rare kind of physician--one who truly cares about his patients as human beings. From the moment you walk into the exam room, you can feel his sincerity. He listens--really listens--to what you're saying. He doesn't talk over you, he doesn't dismiss your concerns, and he doesn't treat you like just another appointment on the schedule. Instead, he takes the time to understand what's going on, both medically and personally, and he approaches every situation with compassion and professionalism. Dr. Cubbison has consistently provided me with the care I need, including the medications that help me function and stay healthy. Keep in mind, they not only let us sit there all that time, it was also mentioned about my service dogs when I made the appointment. They immediately tried to schedule me somewhere else instead of trying to fix the situation. Keep in mind, it is illegal to deny service based on allergies or fear of dogs, per federal law (ADA). It turned into another hour of calling and talking to different people and them trying to "negotiate" with me. Read, they wanted to figure out a way to not accommodate us, while making it look like they were "working with us." I only needed to get a refill on meds. That was literally it. So, 2 1/2 hours later, and being forced to put my service dogs in the car, I finally saw the doctor and was able to leave. The whole situation was not only illegal, it was just plain unethical. You don't ask someone to be separated from their medical equipment. End of the day, it comes down to this: You can take Benadryl. I can't stop being disabled. You might have to suffer through some discomfort for the rest of the day. I'll be spending the rest of the week dealing with the physical, mental, and emotional fallout.

OMG, beware of the costs! Summa charges $590.25 per physical therapy session! For me that was under…read morean hour so they charge an effective rate over $600 per hour! Just the evaluation was $391.50. It's no wonder the US healthcare system is so screwed up! These rates might be justified in a Manhattan high rise, maybe, but in Uniontown OH? Really? Outrageous! In addition, I only found out about the rates when I received the bill. No upfront disclosure of the rates at all. Just a bill. Even my family doctor charges "only" $120 for an office visit. Even if he only spends 15 minutes with me, that's still less per hour than what Summa is charging for a physical therapy session. Seems to me that a doctor with years of medical school should be able to charge more than a physical therapist. Not to minimize the abilities or skill of a physical therapist, but I'll bet the actual therapist sees maybe 10% of that amount. Where is the rest going? To the MANY big and fancy buildings Summa is building all over the place. Vote with your wallets folks. Avoid Summa at all cost!
