Very comfortable retreat center! All the rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are kept clean and up to date. The staff is always helpful and friendly and there to give your group a good experience. I enjoyed sitting out on the deck to eat meals and chat with friends. In the morning it's a beautiful spot to sit for the sunrise and read over a cup of coffee and take in the peace and quiet. There's a nice disc golf course and a small pond you can go canoeing (but not swimming) on. Large patio with a bonfire pit, small workout/gym room. They keep a wide variety of board games available too. We were able to bring plenty of our own food and snacks to supplement the meals that are provided. The food at the retreat center is really good, nothing fancy but filling and a huge step up from typical camp food. It's served in a line buffet style and they always try to keep the menu items different during your stay, including a main, sides, and dessert. This is a great spot for a weekend getaway with a quiet location and comfortable amenities. Not much around the area so perfect if that's what you're looking for. We have had our church's Women's retreat here for two years. Hotel like rooms with plenty of mirrors and space for 6 women to share a room. Each room has its own toilet and shower. The rooms are in their own wing so away from activities and quiet. The staff is very attentive and ready to meet any need you have. Lovely decorated with plenty of areas to sit and reflect, read, have quiet time or just fellowship with others. Our meeting room was huge! We did our lessons, crafts and games in the same room. It also had a kitchenette in it so we could have snacks and drinks right there. Meals were very nice. Food varied. Coffee, tea and juices available all the time. Lovely patio with a great view. There was a fire ring so we enjoyed a bonfire this year. The snow was not good enough this year to use the skis and snowshoes. The first year we had a snowstorm and the outdoor activities were great. read more
