The location is very easy to find as it is on the outskirts of town as your headed toward Hallettsville. The actual buildings and cemetery are very well maintained as I have no difficulty finding the plots I'm searching for. Oddly enough, the mausoleum never seems to be unlocked when I visit. An air of peace and tranquility exude the premises while discoursing through the area.

On this visit, I was blessed to meet one of the volunteers as well as the main person spear-heading the clean up and restoration efforts. She and I visited for well over a half-hour and even swapped contact information. After our visit, I logged the memorials and added GPS coordinates on the Find A Grave website. Overall, I was impressed by the grounds and worked performed by the volunteers. Please check out the cemetery during posted hours.

I absolutely enjoyed the beauty of the church archietcture and the hallowed aura the cemetary exuded. To my pleasant surprise, I discovered many friends and family interred here. In fact, I was able to fulfill several photo requests on Find A Grave (website). Didn't realize it at the time, but this church is connected with Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Yoakum, Texas. If you're ever in the area, please don't hesitate to stop by this wonderful landmark.

Surprisingly, I recognized a few of the names on the grave markers. This particular cemetery is very well maintained and clean. Not sure why this surprised me. Anyway, I'll make another visit whenever I'm in the area.
