Top notch service!…read more I recently had my Sunesta awning get stuck in the open position. The motor failed and the weather forecast was for wind and showers. I contacted Express Sunrooms on a Friday night and Jeff and Scott responded the next morning securing the awning in its closed position and diagnosing the motor problem. The motor arrived about 2 weeks later and Jeff installed it. In addition, he noticed the brackets pulling away from the house because the house was not designed to hold an awning, so Express Sunrooms re-installed the awning with a header board that not only looks nice but will hold the awning securely. I cannot say enough good things about the service, response and professionalism that Express Sunrooms in Ladson demonstrated in solving this problem for me. I am very comfortable in highly recommending them to anyone seeking products and services that they offer.

However, surprise,surprise after fill installation we were told that's not even an option for unspecified reason. And of course my contract did not specify the length so we were stuck. Then the installation crew damaged the framing to my porch. Instead of fixing it properly they just offered us money to do it ourselves which was not suitable and did a bad patch job when they finally returned. Now to the present, 3 of my shades are broken and I have been calling the office for over 1.5 month and the "service" person has never responded or called. We had high expectations for this fencing company based on their advertising of "all screw…read moreconstruction," but unfortunately our experience has been very disappointing. Less than three years after installation--and actually starting a little over two years in--our fence began separating. Upon closer inspection, it's clear that staples were used instead of screws in areas, which is not what was promised. This has led to premature failure and a fence that simply hasn't held up the way it should, especially considering the amount we invested. To be fair, we were initially satisfied with the overall look of the fence, even though the project took longer than originally communicated. We also followed all maintenance instructions provided. However, the structural issues have completely overshadowed that early satisfaction. What's been most frustrating is the lack of follow-through. When we initially reached out, the owner, Mike, said he would come take a look after returning from an international trip--but that was nearly six months ago. Since then, there has been no response to calls or texts from either me or my husband. Mike was very kind and personable, which makes this situation even more disappointing. While the customer service felt genuine at first, the lack of follow-up hasn't been fair to us as customers. For a company that charges premium prices and promotes quality craftsmanship, this level of durability and customer service is unacceptable. We expected better communication and accountability, especially for a product that hasn't even lasted three years. I would not recommend this company based on our experience.
