To date, I have spent several thousand dollars across their services - I am currently enrolled in the Elite Family membership ($400/month), have purchased the functional medicine package ($500), and have also transitioned my medspa services (e.g., botox, etc.) to their practice. While the membership offerings themselves are appealing, the overall experience has been inconsistent. For example, the locker room amenities frequently fall short of expectations. In the evenings, the water is often empty, which may seem small but is not in line with the standard one would expect from a "luxury" facility - especially one that includes a sauna. Additionally, my boyfriend has experienced similar issues in the men's locker room, including a lack of available towels. These recurring issues detract from the overall experience. My functional medicine appointment was a positive experience. Rebecca provided a thoughtful and comprehensive review of my bloodwork along with actionable recommendations. However, the follow-up experience has been frustrating. When I reach out through the patient portal with questions, the responses tend to focus on promoting additional memberships rather than addressing my specific concerns. For example, when I recently inquired about peptides, I was directed toward a peptide membership rather than receiving straightforward guidance. I prefer a model where I can pay for services as needed, without the pressure to enroll in ongoing memberships. Overall, it feels as though the business model is heavily centered around enrolling clients in multiple memberships, which makes it difficult to access continued care without additional commitments. This approach has impacted my experience and may ultimately influence whether I continue seeking services with Alive and Well. Medspa services with Kelly are great. She listens and gives great guidance! If you are strictly going for the spa (sauna, cold plunge, massages, facials), it is a beautiful and relaxing environment. Never knew this cute studio is right smack dab on lower Greenville. Since the class was at 10 am I found street parking very easily. The yoga instructors were super helpful and didn't make me feel like a newbie (to the studio or to yoga). This special event I attended started with the yoga portion done to 90's music, which is my jam! So much fun. At the end we were treated to a sound bath. I am enjoying those the few times I've done them. I find I can find a deep relaxation during that down time. It's kind of magical. This studio does offer a free intro class which I will book soon. In the meantime I recommend following this studio on IG and looking for their next Fire Flow event. I am happy that I was at their first and it was a success. As someone who's naturally high-energy and struggles with quieting my mind, I've always found these practices difficult--until I attended Brittani's sound healing class. I had never been to a sound healing session before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Brittani began with a gentle, grounding meditation followed by a chanting exercise. While I felt nervous at first about chanting aloud, the atmosphere she created was so welcoming and judgment-free that my hesitation quickly melted away.
