My husband & I stayed at Oak Meadow Delight on July 11, 2022. We had a wonderful stay. Tracy greeted us upon our arrival. Tracy was very pleasant & kind. We lived in Ottumwa over 30 years ago & was in town checking things out. Even though the town was disappointing, The Oak Meadow Delight was not. Tracy's recommendation for dinner was very good. Our breakfast the next morning was also very good. My husband & I travel quite a bit & we would recommend The Oak Meadow Delight to anyone. read more

We stayed one night. The elegant breakfast was fantastic! Our room was perfect with all the amenities anyone might expect. The Boyers were excellent hosts. As one would expect, there are stairs to the guest rooms, which we navigated even with our knee problems. Our luggage was graciously managed for us. Wow! Oak Meadow Delight is a gem of a place! Our extended family rented all the rooms for my niece's wedding this past weekend and couldn't have been more pleased. The rooms and grounds are spacious & spotless yet cozy & comfortable. Our hosts, Tracy and Marvin were so thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay and the breakfasts they served were outstanding! Plus, it was fun to have the common area, the Harvest Room, where our family could congregate during our stay. If you need a place to stay in Ottumwa, please stay here. WONDERFUL! I got a chance to stay in the Marie and also got to see the other rooms because we stayed as part of a wedding party. Each room is fabulous and has it's own restroom.
