The clubhouse has a great view of the lake as well. Same standard food as all the other ptc courses. Check in is always easy enough with quick access to the cart barn. Close to the airport so small planes taking off and landing, more cool than it is annoying but usually a little bit of both. Always in good shape and dries pretty quickly after rain. On colder days bring an extra layer as the wind comes of the lake pretty good.

Once I am on the course, the experience itself is solid and worth the money. However, the behavior and attitude of the staff are unacceptable and overshadow everything else. On multiple occasions, I have been met with annoyance or outright hostility simply for checking in and paying for a round. Even worse, I have personally overheard starters and course managers making openly aggressive and disrespectful comments about paying golfers ahead of me, including statements about wanting to punch them in the face. That kind of language and mindset should never come from employees representing a golf course. I have never had an issue with the course, pace of play, or fellow golfers here. The only consistent problem is the staff. If Fox Creek wants to improve, it starts with professionalism, accountability, and hiring people who respect the customers keeping the course in business.

And the weekend price of $36 for 18 holes, with a cart isn't bad at all. The not so great: the greens are sandy, so I am guessing they are being treated for new grass. But, overall not too bad. The course is not very well mapped out. You can get lost going in circles due to some of the holes not having any signs indicating what hole you are on. No signs pointing to the first hole, nor the 10th. So, I rode around for about five minutes looking for the first hole! The bunkers don't have sand in them. (That's fine with me, I can't hit out of sand very well at all.) A water hazard on the front 9, is just a puddle. (Again, fine by me. I was able to play a ball that went into the dried up part and play through the par 3 hole) Overall, it was a good experience. I will be back. And I would recommend it to anyone in the West Georgia, East Alabama area. Have fun, everyone! FORE!!

A New (to me) Golf Find in Cascade!…read more I recently attended the monthly women's social at the Cascade driving range in Atlanta, and I had such a great time! Honestly, I didn't even know there was a driving range in Cascade. I'm usually over in Cobb County, so this was a fun little discovery--and it's super convenient, just off I-20. The event was such a great way to meet people. I connected with some of the staff, local golfers, and women who were completely new to golf. Everyone was welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. There were snacks, drinks, plenty of conversation, and most importantly, a really nice sense of community. I love events that make it easy to meet new people while trying something different, and this one definitely delivered. Whether you're already a golfer or just curious about getting started, this felt like a comfortable place to come out and have some fun. I'll definitely be back--not just for another event, but to hit some balls! ‍ And ladies, mark your calendars: Women's Wednesday is the third Wednesday of every month, with a special on a bucket of balls. Sounds like I have a new monthly activity!
