My favorite event that I attended, that she organized and prepped the kids for, was a "book crawl" where all grades 4th and below participated in a unit of study where each grade picked a theme and put together their own individual class books over the course of the unit and parents got to go listen to their students read their books aloud in their classrooms. I have twins that were in kinder, and their theme was how to be community helpers. I highly recommend Ms. Smothers, she has had many years of experience in all facets of the school system.

We than went out and had a individual test of my son and they was heart broken to hear how a teacher could make someone so intelligent feel shelled in and insecure at such a young age. We pulled our son because of the protesting going on in front of the school and Cindy saying she can't do anything for my son because she is a public school teacher. Cindy called one day and asked if we can bring a toy so she could use it a pacifier for my son. I told her no that he has been in programs since 2, she went against what we said and bought him a toy and told him not to tell his parents. That was the last straw and he was pulled from the school immediately.

Our son has been attending for a little over a month and Respect, self control, discipline and self confidence, are some of the things our son has started to learn and demonstrate all due to what he is learning at Revolution Martial Arts. Mr. Brantley has control over the class, he is great with the kids, challenges them and encourages them. Kids show respect and greet before stepping on the matt to begin class.
