Rude. The shirts that I took to get "heavy starch," came back looking like I had ironed them myself....without any starch at all. The charged me full price, and then explained that it was just my fabric. I know this is incorrect because I can get them stiffer at home with my spray starch! When I questioned them, she was rude and defensive. I asked for a discount since they were not up to standards, and they refused. They did Excellent cleaning on all my clothes that has been covered cat fur. I didn't expect that, but clothes came out like new.

We took 2 pair of my husbands pants there to be shortened. We picked them up didn't check them right away. BUT when he did try on the pants we noticed they had not been hemmed I called the store when we noticed that one pair wasn't hemmed at all and the other pair one leg was hemmed and the other was not. I called the store to notify them about this. Because of their small window of hours they are open I couldn't get the pants back in until a Saturday. The young gal ( Sandy ) was the name on the receipt. Argued with us that it couldn't have happen. Look at the pants . It is obvious it happened. She continued to say we were supposed to bring them back with in seven days of pick up. Told us it was on the receipt. Which it is NOT on the receipt. Also told us we had only been in their store once before. I called the day before and told them the pants were not hemmed. And That I couldn't get there until the next day. Lady said bring them in. We leave with the pants furious. I tell her you have poor customer service. I asked her name is she why do you want my name. I said I want to use your name when I do a yelp review and post on social media how bad your service is . We left. She comes running out of the store and says they will fix them. My husband goes and picks up the pants for the second time. One pair of pants was hemmed one was not. Moral of this story is STAY AWAY. read more

This place has definitely gone down in their quality of work. I recently dropped off to Ring Jackets for alteration. Together with the owner, we discussed what needed to be done and the date to be picked up. Let me tell you, she did what she wanted and ruined both jackets, also she thought it was funny. I took my skirt set to this cleaners to be taken about 2 inches in the waist only. When I picked up my clothes and checked them, it was not sewed very professionally. My sleeve had 2 1/2 inch slit in which I had to sew. I will never use this cleaners again. read more

Took two of my favorite rare baseball caps that you can't find anywhere anymore, thinking they are a dry cleaners and know how to handle material, how to wash, stain removal and dry! Well I went to pick my hats up and they were beyond ruined, then the older lady started raising her voice, and I didn't wanna be disrespectful so I kept my composure, then she turned and said you wanted stains gone! Like it was my fault! It looked like they just through them in the washer then stepped on them a few times and dried them on high heat! I wouldn't let them wash my dogs blanket there! The older lady is beyond rude with no customer service skills at all! Don't know how many years they have cleaning there but they have no business in the dry cleaning! Not much can be said about a dry cleaners. Their prices are good, service is good, return time on clothes is no more than a day or two. Returned clothes always come back cleaned and pressed. No complaints. This location also makes basic alterations. read more

Horrible place to go. Overpriced. Horrible prices and customer service is a joke. I have gone there before new owners and now it's a mess. They argue with the customers using loud and rude tones on the phone and don't correct the mistake you make unless you pay extra. The owner didn't even care to call back or provide a fixing solution to the problem. She insulted me as well by commenting on my size and losing weight instead of fitting the problem and having me try on the clothes I left . She complained about my order every day even tho I told her I had moved to SF. and after she got paid she left my order a mess and refused to fix it. I feel like this was a horrible experience overall. Try Modesto area instead of here. Much better service and prices too. Friendly and policy is expalined an they suggested trying on things before you enter and leave. This place didnt even do that. The new owner is terrible. I have been using this cleaners for 13 years. The previous owners was amazing and I never had any problems. This is the Cowboy Capital the World and the new owner has no idea how to starch jeans. I took my jeans to be starched with the crease down the center. It was explained to have heavy starch so the jeans can stand up on their own. When I picked them up I didn't check them because I assumed that they were done correctly. When I went to my next rodeo I saw that they were not creased down the center and light Starch. I called as she had more of my jeans and asked to bring these back and have her fix them. She told me it was my responsibility to check my jeans prior to leaving when I picked them up. I needed to pay for the second set of jeans also and she would not correct them. She was very rude. I have been bringing our clothes here for years now and I would have thought that with years of loyal customer service the owner would be nicer and more considerate. I recently brought my fiancé's law-enforcement uniform to get washed and I got it back with the same pen marking I had dropped it off with. I asked if they could rewash it and she said she would do it next time if I asked her. I'd be nice if we got good service since we have been loyal to this place and overall working in law-enforcement hasn't been easy lately with all the hate going on in the world. I brought them my wife's vintage dress to be cleaned for a wedding this weekend and they ruined it!! There was only one small "stain" and I asked them to please be careful with the vintage crystals and not only did they DESTROY THIS DRESS but have the nerve to still charge to get the other two garments back?! If a negative 5 could be give it would. They could not even call us to let us know in advance! I'm so angry and now there is not enough time to get a replacement dress so we will be missing out on this wedding. Had a jacket and slacks dry cleaned here in February after an interview. Put them on today and my slacks had been shrunken. A few inches shorter and tighter overall. I'd advise to not take your clothes here unless you want to risk them being ruined. read more

I am not one to post bad reviews. I also believe in second chances. But this place has had third and fourth chances, and still they don't come through. First time: I dropped off my husbands jeans for a heavy starch. They were regular wrangler boot cut. Nothing special except he wears a 38 inseam. I picked up the jeans, and no I did not look at them. When my husband took them out to wear them, they were not his jeans. First off they were Cinch brand. Not wranglers. Second they were a 33 inch inseam. No way were they his. So I took them back and they argued with me that they were his. They even wrote his last name on the inside seam. I stated that we first of all dont own any Cinch, and second my husband wears a 38 inch inseam. These are capris on him! Needless to say, I figure that everyone makes mistakes. So Number two: My daughter took an evening gown in to be cleaned. It had a rhinestone embeleshment on the shoulder. They said that they would remove it before cleaning and then sew it back on. Ok, fine. When we pick it up, they had sewn it on the front breast. Not even close to wear it had been before. AND the needle they used was so big, it caused a run in the fabric... RIGHT IN THE FRONT! Ruined. SO now Im stupid, because we were running late for a 4H thing for my son. He needed his white pants starched for a show and I did not have time to take them to Modesto. I figure, come on, they can't screw up again. I mean they are still in business. My instances had to be flukes. Right? I take the pants in. They are WHITE. When I pick them up, they have burned the belt loops and they are now dark brown! OMG!!!! NEVER AGAIN, NEVER will I step foot in that place. If you value your clothes, take them somewhere else! I have been trusting my dry cleaning to Oakdale Dry Cleaners for years. They also do a great job of my "light starch" ironed shirts. The staff is cheerful and helpful. They can handle large down comforters and draperies. Formal gowns and wedding dresses are handled with care. When my brother passed away recently I went in there, obviously upset, with the dress shirt my brother was to be buried in.
