More than 10 years ago I tweaked my back using a wheelbarrow while building a deck. I had always had a sensitive back and neck that would easily get pulled and take me out for a few days. I have been going to this Chiropractic location for 14 years. Even though I don't even live in the neighborhood. There are 2 Chiropractors on duty. Watson and Barlot. I have gone too both of them, and recommend both of them. I have also done graston and ART with both of them. I have used the Acupuncture and Massage in the past, but have not used them for about 10 years. As I don't know the staff, and have not used them in a long time, if I needed Acupuncture or a Massage, I would go see someone closer to home. The staff in general are very nice, and want to get to know you on a personal level vs. just being a number. But I will continue using the Chiropractors, and drive the distance to continue seeing them. read more

I had a bad car accident and thanks to Dr Ron Barlot, I am now doing better, feeling better and am back to "my" normal life. Dr Barlot is an expert in the field of Active Release. A few years ago I visited Dr. Barlot at the Oakridge Chiropractic Massage & Acupuncture Centre because I was experiencing aches and pains in my chest and shoulder which I thought might be related to an old injury (dislocated rib). His assessment determined that I had irritated the scar tissue so he treated me with Active Release Technique (ART) and adjustments. I was very happy with the results and in no time, my symptoms subsided and I was feeling good again. I am also currently under Dr. Barlot's care for stiffness and reduced mobility in my neck. He is treating me with ART and adjustments and there have been noticeable improvements since beginning treatment. Dr. Barlot is kind, knowledgeable and good at what he does.
