Penne ala vodka
Jen H.

Decently priced, daily specials and good portions. I'd come back for sure! A nice place for a quick warm meal. I had the penne ala vodka and it was pretty good. Might have the wings next time. It was a pleasant surprise to have a free kids meal with a main, so the bill was very good!

March 26/2022: This visit was part of a music festival that was underway at the time. Nice restaurant with a large menu. Place was very busy at time of visit. Ordered the cauliflower bites & the fish tacos. Cauliflower was very tasty. The tacos on the other hand didn't have much taste as all. The fish was cod I was told but you can't tell when it's battered like mine was. I'd go again if I'm in the area but wouldn't make this a destination.

The big big screen

Food was great tonight and always has been. Today was wings night, mozz sticks and opening night. The sports bar side of the restaurant has great TVs as well.

Found them on ubereats and it's our go-to! Their pizzas are THE BEST. I love the texture, flavours and they load on the toppings. So filling and so delicious. Also, I love their pulled-pork sandwich!! If you are feeling extra fancy... substitute for truffle fries.

A nice patio to sit for some drinks and relax. We went in the afternoon after the lunch rush so it wasn't busy. We got a table right away and the staff were friendly. In addition to the drinks, we ordered some appetizers and desserts to share. The funnel cake fries were definitely the highlight of the entire meal. It was so tasty that we ate the entire thing within minutes even though we were both so full. Definitely would get it again the next time I'm here. Everything else was good, but nothing really stood out. In terms of prices, I thought it was pretty standard for the type of food and for the portions. Overall I had a good experience and will consider coming back for a full meal next (and also to get more funnel cake fries)!

My friend introduced us to this restaurant. Wednesday was half price wings with the purchase of a drink. The restaurant had a bar, and many tv screens around so you can watch the games. We ordered 2 different 1/2 wings , sweet chilli and honey garlic. Then we ordered the T-bone steak which was $28. After we tried the lava cake with ice and vanilla crepe brulle both $9 each. The food was pretty good. The price is quite reasonable too. I definitely return!

Mighty Mac burger, side of truffle fries

Given that we are in another round of lockdown, this is a review based on an Uber eats delivery order. Though there are various specials if you pick up the order yourself :) Overall, the food was good - obviously not as great as dine-in fresh would be but the food was the appropriate temperatures and nothing was soggy. Just a little bit pricey with all the Uber eats fees. Ordered on a recent Saturday evening - our order arrived reasonably quickly. Rundown: - Mighty Mac burger: their version of a Big Mac (it's pretty close) but gigantic. There is no way anyone can fit all layers in their mouth at once haha. Upgraded our regular fries to the truffle ones - lightly truffled, with a little bit of Parmesan on top. Crisp shoestring fries. This was good, but not the best - I prefer other versions from around town: the Z burger from Zeal burgers and the truffle Parmesan fries from the Smokery. - Greek village salad: a nice hearty Greek salad on what I believe is homemade hummus. Good seasoning. The crispy cracker pieces were a nice touch. Could have used a touch more olives (there were only 4 and my kids commandeered 3 of them), feta and red onions (though I will say the red onions were cut nice and thin, which I find easier to eat) - Mac n cheese: penne in a cheesy sauce with nice big pieces of bacon in it and sweet caramelized onions. Lightly breadcrumbed at the top. Still hot even after sitting at our table for a while. Very tasty - simple but done well - a winner with the kids too. - Crispy Brussels sprouts (has nuts - I think peanuts): one of the better versions I've had in recent times. Charred, but not burnt. Not dried out. I don't know if this version had balsamic vinegar but if it did, it was not overpowering like in other versions I've had. Maybe just a touch too sweet (I think that was from the Thai sweet chili sauce). There was a drizzle of white something across the top - I think maybe a soft fresh cheese sauce? Didn't taste like mayo but I liked it.

Once we were seated though, the servers were very friendly despite how busy it was. Seating was comfortable but the floors were quite sticky and had quite a bit of leftover food pieces by the evening. Since it was a game night, we ordered the special, 1lb of wings with a beer. Food is pretty constant, and the wings and fries were good, but I felt as though they give significantly less fries in comparison to other locations. A little disappointing as the St. Louis fries are the best of the meal in my opinion! When we finished and paid, I was surprised that they actually charged us for the wings and beer separately instead of the game night offer. They corrected it after I bought it up but I'm glad I checked the bill first! Overall, I'm wondering if it just happened to be an off day due to being understaffed. The food is still good and the location is close to home so I'd definitely be back to give them another try.

I know the closest St. Louis place from work and home. For months, I have been driving up to Whitchurch-Stouffville to get groceries and more on Wednesdays. I have passed by this St. Louis location, salivating as I think of wings. I finally dropped by this week to pick up my takeout order. If you have been reading my reviews as of late, I have a healthy habit of looking at menus on my handful of food-ordering apps. On Skip the Dishes, I noticed that from now until December 13, 2020, you can order a pound of wings at 50% off the normal price. Insane! I ordered a pound of chipotle mango dry rub wings. Instead of going with the usual celery and carrot sticks, I upgraded to coleslaw. Getting such a sweet deal makes me feel like I am getting away with murder. I ended up getting some garlic sticks. I need carbs! I ordered in my car, parked outside of Giant Tiger. My order would take roughly 25 minutes. Great! Well, the lineup at Giant Tiger was extremely long. By the time I got in my car, Skip the Dishes indicated that I had two minutes before my order was ready for pickup. Nice! I drove over to St. Louis. I parked near the eatery and walked over. York region is not in lockdown. There were patrons dining and chatting. Tables were spaced apart. It looked clean. I stood at the front and looked at the sign-in customer log for COVID-19 tracking during this pandemic. I then saw what appeared to be my order on the bar's counter and headed over there. The female bartender was so friendly. She said, "You must be Mary T!" I nodded. She handed me my order. I thanked her and wished her a great evening. I drove home and chowed down. The chipotle mango dry rub was so good. It has lots of flavour. I like dry rubs these days because I don't need so much sugar in my system. I dig this flavour. It was my first time having it and won't be my last. The coleslaw is a generous portion. It's vinegar-based. If you like the creamy type, you're out of luck here. It was yummy. I couldn't eat it all and had the remainder the following day for lunch. It was even better! The garlic sticks looked like larger fries. It came with marinara sauce. I could taste the garlic. The sticks were chewy and highly enjoyable to eat. I am a garlic fan and wanted more garlic flavour on them. However, the wings came with creamy dill sauce, which does wonders dipping these garlic sticks in it and the marinara sauce. The menu says that it's pizza sauce. There are small chunks of tomato in it. It tasted more like fresh marinara sauce. Yummy! I am a fan of this eatery. It looks fairly new. The bar is stunning. The television screens showing various sports games were crisp and vivid. I am likely coming back to take advantage of this promotion until it ends. Even without it, I will return because I love the wings here and I had a wonderful experience. (431)

Our evening on their spacious patio started with some refreshing cocktails - Tequila Sunrise, Grand Thai Tea, and Sparkling Mango Mint. They looked good and tasted great! We ordered the Sharing Platter to start, while we decided on the rest of our meal. Everything on the menu looked really good and it was hard to choose so we ended up with Fish Tacos, Triple Decker Club Sandwich, Chicken Cobb Salad, Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Fajitas, and the Kids' Burger. Everything tasted great, with the fish tacos, cobb salad, and fajitas being our favourites. If we weren't so stuffed, we would have tried their desserts. Next time. With good food and good service, we'll definitely return!

The beer that was served to my friends seemed to be fine but my diet coke was flat unfortunately. We had a trainee server which might have contributed to our bills being completely messed up but we just paid them anyway...no biggie. I thought it was odd that we didn't receive an actual bill. However, we could see what we were paying for on the payment terminal if we asked.
