I went here on 2.27.2025 with the intention of purchasing a New King James Version (NKJV) Bible. They definitely had some in their cute locker display - actual lockers that open up nicely and were labeled. However, what they had was not quite what I wanted. One was a huge Bible. It was not comfortable to hold. Another had teeny tiny lettering that my 42-year-old eyes could not handle for long. Lol. So after poring over the rest of the book section, I waved over the friendly young lady who welcomed me to check me out. When she realized they didn't have what I wanted, she recommended me to Hobby Lobby. (A "I could've had a V8" moment.) I purchased a book called "The Grace of Healing: Revealing God's Heart to Heal" by Bob Yandian ($29.39). It has been refreshing and helpful for me. Yandian gets straight to the point, but in thoughtful ways. Go check the bookstore out & eat at their cafe even if you don't attend the church. It is swanky cool inside! I miss the Tea Room that once was next door, but now it is a different cafe... Outlaw Grill or something. My uncle really enjoyed his ginormous, overpriced green chile burger there recently. I haven't partaken, but back to the boutique... This place offers baby and wedding registries. Many of the items are fairly unique. The clothes, in my humble opinion, are simply overpriced and more geared to more mature ladies. ;) Definitely not my styles or fit. The staff members always have the place open! They rarely IF AT ALL close to set up for Christmas debuts like *cough cough* another place *Horsefeathers* did when I was mostly recently shopping (10/28/20). That's why they get my full 5 star love. I popped in today (2/14/2024) to honestly just look around. There was ample free parking. At the register I saw some Gold Canyon candles and picked one ($29 for a 14-ouncer) up for an upcoming birthday girl. These are some of the best candles I have ever tried. Lulu is the only retailer in town that sells them & they gift-wrapped it for me! I was done Valentine's shopping long ago, but I couldn't resist a pair of heart-shaped earrings ($12). The ladies working there are extraordinarily kind and welcoming. I didn't see many bodysuits which was what I was looking for, but I'll be back. They have super cute clothes for women for all occasions. Please support this local business!

If you're not from Hobbs, we Hobbsans refer to the Broadmoor Mall as "the hall." This is not a hoppin' place. It's one-story. And basically it's set up as a hallway. But I digress... The lone female employee I interacted with on March 14, 2024, was extremely nice and helpful. I came for hair accessories. And because all of what I bought was "buy 3, get 3 free" I think I walked out with cute options for my 9-year-old daughter! I grabbed some cute cat keychains for my girls' Easter baskets.
