You won't find a more involved and caring Pastor than Pastor Fred. You will love him! I recently had a major surgery and this church covered me in prayer, checked on me constantly and delivered a bunch of meals. I was overwhelmed with the love and care of the people of this church! I love that this is a praying church and a serving church! They do Bi-monthly food pantries for the community and seriously care about people. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and right as you walked into the church, you are greeted with coffee and refreshments which is very helpful in the early morning! The church is doing great things in the community and building strong relationships within themselves as well. The worship was heartfelt and the sermon was very encouraging and applicable. It is not a…read moretourist attraction, there is no great historical importance to the church building, although, the stain glass windows are nice. We come here for Daily Mass and prayer. There is a nice dedicated group of residents who gather together daily to pray, hear the scriptures read, sermon, and receive the Eucharist. While on vacation our teenage boys will sleep in until noon. We let them. Daily Mass is at 9:00am with praying the rosary at 8:40am. We enjoy spending our morning attending Mass together and getting to know a few of the locals. The people here are friendly and Father Dane is a kind priest. It just makes our vacation time more peaceful and meaningful. The church is located close to grocery shopping so it is also convenient to stop on the way back with munchies for our ever hungry teenagers. Go meet them. And get some spiritual refreshment on your vacation.
