2020 -2024 Has been a very trying time my Fiancé selected a loan form them. As a senior citizen they charged him almost 6,000 on his loans. This is predatory lending. I am hoping your office will renegotiate his interest rate of 93%. He's is nearing 70 yrs old and the interest rates alone is enough to send him to the hospital. Your customers are mostly low income and fixed living check to check. He took out close to $3000 and now he owes 9000 roughly in interest because you charge 93% after 12 months or 18month. This is a company that doesn't keep their word. I was told that i would be able to receive a second loan but was not true. If i knew about this kind of place i would have never been okay with the small loan. I have brain trauma and now i will need to hold back on treatment i wanted to receive. Not Recommended. I have a lawsuit judgment, so my superior court case is over. I want a very small loan secured by a relatively large judgment that I cannot yet enforce. Spoke to James of Oasis on the phone. He was terse and unfriendly, which is poor customer service to a prospective borrower. James said I must be represented by an attorney to get a loan. I told him that when the case is over, no-one is represented by a attorney (generally). He spoke with his supervisor and they were adamant that you must have an attorney. He then hung up on me. These people don't seem very bright and are also kinda rude. About 3 years ago I previously asked Oasis for a loan during the lawsuit. They were kinda rude and intransigent at that time also. A judgment is a present property interest versus a pending lawsuit where a judgment is merely prospective. I wouldn't want to do business with Oasis. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! I unfortunately had over 1 week of my time wasted by their underwriter Brian Moonin. Let me detail my experience from front to back so that you guys can see that this is NOT the place to go to if you actually need HELP. I applied 8 days ago in what looked like a pretty standard case since I already worked with another agency. I asked if there was anything I can do to expedite the process so they gave me his email and i sent the underwriter all of the court documents that were requested from any company. From there....it went downhill.. I didn't receive any response or update for a couple of days. I sent emails asking if there is anything I can do or help with. I finally get an email from Brian saying he reached out to my attorney. Nothing else. Days go by again. I am emailing and asking for updates. He states the same thing. All the while my attorneys office already sent everything requested. He still wont say WHAT he actually needs from them. Just says in an email to reach out to my attorney office AGAIN. He still doesnt detail anything. Finally my attorneys office responds and says they provided everything asked. Guess what? He doesnt respond again about that or what he needs....Weekend goes by and I follow up again and he states the same thing. At this point I am fed up... So today I emailed him and stated that if we cannot find a resolution today, go ahead and close my file. Guess what the PETTTTTYYYYY underwriter Brian Moonin did? He says oh I was just waiting on 1 specific piece of info today that would have got this taken care of..but I'll close your file now...So he got his feelings hurt because I decided that today was enough. that 8 days of waiting for something was enough. So he instantly declined me due to that. NOT because I was not approved, but because he wanted to be PETTY and hurt me personally. I will seek legal action against this company. read more

The biggest and most disgusting tactic Oasis took was to call me and tell me that they were not issuing a check at the moment. I picked a check as payment because it was free. The unreasonable fees to either send via a service or transfer to a bank is thievery. If it wasn't that I had already committed myself and went ahead and made plans with the money. I would have retracted from accepting the loan. It was after I signed that I received the call with the bad news Oasis didn't do me a favor they screwed me at the end. I was able to get an advance with no problem. When I applied for a 2nd advance, I was denied because I have an open bankruptcy. This was a BS reason to deny my application, given the fact that I already had an open Bankruptcy when I applied for the first loan that was approved! The main rub was all of the calls and hoops the team went through to get the fees waived so that I could have all of my funds only to be denied! How disappointing. Just tried to inquire about their rates for a potential settlement case. They are adamant on not giving out their rates until you apply. What's so secretive? Reason; they charge 25% to 60% of the loan..sure they'll fund your settlement... they can get 60% of what they loan you against an easy case. Worst part of this business is their customer support. I just got disconnected online chat when asking for their rates because I wouldn't give them my info before they gave me their rates. Stay away from this scam! Almost as bad as pay day loans. We just settled our lawsuit yesterday and used Oasis a number of times during the duration. I can say, the first loan we received was timely and seamless. The last time, the beginning of this month was a joke and if we didn't have an attorney play the "middle man", we might still be waiting. They advertise, you may receive your loan in as little as 24 hours. I know that's not set in stone but what I'm going to tell you pissed me off to no end. We applied for the loan on a Monday and called Tuesday and Wednesday and the operator informed us the underwriter hasn't made a decision yet. We called our attorney lat that Wednesday and she informed us Oasis hasn't even asked for our information. She called them personally and after another day and a half, we were approved in the afternoon before they closed. NOW, the next day, we called Western Union to make sure the money was there and it wasn't. Mind you, we are PST and they are CST, 2 hours ahead so it was 2:00 their times. We called and the operator said it hadn't been sent yet and I explained we were approved the day before and it had been 5 days. She stated she would send them an alert and an hour later it was there. I am in the midst of a legal case that is taking forever. I have been in litigation for a year and a half. Prior to Thursday July 2nd I had received two loans of 500 each against my case. My last one was over a year ago and I planned not to do it again. However I received word of a death in my family,(my father) so I needed cash quick to buy a plane ticket.(900 Dollars) I requested the money at Midnight on Thursday morning and was told I'd hear back by the end of business. I am the victim of a car accident in Georgia. My lawyer told me to try Oasis Funding or Oasis Financial. Whatever. I called them. They are a big company and know what they are doing. They didn't really give me straight answer about how much it's all gonna cost until i had my lawyer help me fill out the Application. Boy was this a mistake. I saw the charges and it blew me away. First, they charge fees to do the funding. The fees are bigger the more that you borrow. Why? is the work bigger? Then they compound the interst rate on a monthly basis. This means their great rate of 2.99% is really like 75% a year!. Moreover, I asked about getting the money through Fed Ex cause I dont have a good bank account-$135! for a Fed Ex.
