I've been coming here for a while for haircuts but started getting my hair dyed for the last two years. Visits have been pretty consistent. Color process is easy as I just get touch ups now. The ladies are so nice and do a good job. I'm not picky about who I get I love all of them. Today I had Jessica Lara. She did a beautiful job. I'm very happy with my color, cut and blow out. And fyi, best head scrub everrrr. Very relaxing and there's a small fee for ten minutes extra ;) read more

I can't say enough good things about Cathy and her hair stylists I have 85 years old mom that I take there they are always wonderful to her and me and my 2 sisters. The girls are gentle with her and very patient as she gets her haircut and color which always comes out terrific. These are a great group of women, that truly care. read more

I went in for a haircut and when asked how much I wanted cut, I said about four fingers. I didn't want too much cut off because I have curly hair and when left with little length the curls scrunch even more to make the length even shorter. The hair stylist didn't take more than 10 mins and cut off more than the four fingers I asked for. My hair originally reached down to my waist and now with this cut is right below my shoulders. Recently just went here to get my haircut. This place is horrible. I asked to have my hair cut to shoulder length so that I am still able to put it up in a ponytail for work. She cut my hair so short that I can't even gather up my hair. She barely understood a word of English. That should have been my indicator how this experience was going to go.. Even though the price of the cut was reasonably cheap, I'm left with a cut that I hate. Will never come back to this place again. read more

Place sucks. Can't dye hair for s***! Bleached my hair soo bad that my hair is falling out. First time went there the color didn't stick and they used the WRONG color. 2nd time they almost charged me for the real color that I actually wanted in the first place & lady said it would be COMPLIMENTARY. The worst experience I have ever had with a service of any kind. Prom - after sending emails of the easy pull back style the owner requested 2 weeks in advance of the day to ensure her staff was familiar ... We were looking forward to a nice experience with seemingly competent owner. How incredibly wrong I was ... Staring with the makeup person who thought my daughters skin looked more like it had been treated with arsenic and my daughter asking her to please get a better color match, the woman had apparently been pulled from the parking lot and had no idea what we were saying, the owner had to interject and try to teach her - not a good start ... Then the hair - with the picture they had weeks in advance ... they more that botched it up, didn't know how to braid and and yanked and hair sprayed, did it over and re-braided and sprayed until my daughter was in tears - it was such a mockery the other customers were trying to help. Pulling the plug a couple of hours before an event was not easy thing for me to do - but I did - not only was her hair a mess from all process, I knew I'd be helping to do some quick fixing later. What should have been a lovely afternoon was ruined and it's now a miserable memory that I hope my daughter will laugh at in the future. I cannot completely express on yelp what a total miserable, lousy, awful and comply crappy feeling we had when we left and then they actually wanted their money for the service. I would NOT ever recommend this establishment to any human or creature with hair. Owners you should always be ashamed of yourselves. PS - the place also should be checked out by the BBB. Let me start by saying that when I left there I was very happy with the COLOR of my hair .. there are several issues here one is the language barrier I went in there because my hair was over processed and had two colors in it one woman said I know it might be kind of tricky to get it up to the level that you want all I really wanted was it to be one color and I really wanted it white however after 2 1/2 hours of over bleaching scrubbing shampooing and conditioning when it was all said and done my hair didn't look that much different from when I walk.. when she took off the towel in broken English oh no no it looks great it looks great!! No no I said it still has two colors in it still and now it was even more over processed.. then she proceeded to cut a cut which by the way she never asked me where my part was what I wanted to do she chopped the hell out of my hair one side is longer than the other at this point I'm ready to cry. The manager Cathy comes over sees I'm visibly upset says just be patient my color is Sandra is coming in at three. OK, so I wait Sandra comes in she tells me l you just have to cover it with one color I recommend this blonde well she did a great job I walked out of there happy but let me tell you how much they charged me they charge me $140 because supposedly it would've never came out this good with the one color if I hadn't been over bleached that makes no sense but I have to tell you that Cathy and Sandra did everything they could to make me feel better and work on my hair however I feel they should never have charged me that much it wasn't my fault that the girl that was doing my hair cannot color nor can she cut she should not be there. Never get ur hair done by someone u can't communicate with.. spend the 60.00 on a good cut as we women know our hair is everything... these reviews r here for a reason! read more

I like to say that it is a very nice salon, receptionist is very accommodating, and in a nice area, people are very nice but services are lacking. First off, the washing was only 1 shampoo...why? Saving on shampoo or something? , no effort in washing your hair, no massaging, head just does not feel clean at all. Then moving to my hair stylist, even after speaking for the whole session on how long she has been in the business and cutting hair, have to say that when I came out of there I looked just like her. All I wanted was a layered Bob, but came out looking like a boy with long hair instead. It was not very feminine looking. Constantly showd me products to buy...i get it she wanted to make sells, but geez...1or 2 time us enough. I asked for a bit more layers and it seems she was just cutting away. My hair felt rough, dried, no softness after washed cut and blow dried. It has been a week and I am still trying to get used it and trying yo style it differently. Hope it grows back fast. I have been getting my hair cut in this salon for many years. I am not a creature of habit - I've tried high-end places, paid extravagant money, and been disappointed many times, but I always come back here. I have only once walked away from this salon less-than-ecstatic, but the hairdresser was working with a botched job from another establishment so I feel it would be an unfair representation of the hairdresser's abilities. All in all, this is my go-to spot to get my hair cut. The cuts are priced very fair, the women are nice and have wonderful skills. You will love your hair the day you leave the salon as well as every day after. They work with what you have, and leave you looking naturally beautiful for weeks to come. If you are uncomfortable that these incredible ladies speak spanish, learn the language - or deal with it! It is a small price to pay for a long-term great hairstyle. read more

I feel a little weird about writing a review on a hair salon but oh well. (Please note that it's been a pretty long time since my last visit). I've been here twice for haircuts,and was especially happy about how my hair turned out the first time but unfortunately,both times I've been here the employees hardly talked to me. When I'm sitting there and getting my hair cut,I think it would be nice to have a conversation with the other person in front of the mirror,even if its just her asking me if I like what she's doing with my hair)...but the thing is,she didn't seem to speak English? The stylist(s) only talked to her coworkers in Spanish. That part--and my second cut which was less than stellar--are the reasons why I did not come back. Maybe one day soon,but not yet. read more

They give you a nice haircut. I haven't tried coloring, but I've gotten a few haircuts there and they do a good job at a very good price. They are nice people - some of these reviewers are complaining that the staff doesn't speak to the client when doing their hair because they are speaking Spanish to each other. I couldn't care less - just give me a good haircut. Others here said that we should learn Spanish - excuse me? Last time I looked, this was still America - and here we speak English. I'm not going to learn Spanish so I can converse with my hair cutter, for sure. But a good haircut is the goal here, not chit chat for me. I also love the fact that they're there 7 days a week from morning til evening - very good for working people. read more

Oasis is the cheapest place around! I'm a guy and ALMOST always get a good haircut here. Last one with Maria was excellent. No, they sometimes don't speak much English, but if you want to converse with your haircutter learn Spanish! Only about 400 million people speak it! read more

After my last review I've gotten 3 hair cuts there. The 1st one in September of 2015 they gave me layers really short layers that I didn't ask for and I hated it. The next time in Jan I finally grew out the horrible layers so I told them all 1 length and that hair cut was fine. I went this weekend and figured I would be specific, I told them I want long choppy layers but keep it long, I like my hair long. They cut all the hair on the side of my head really short, a little below my chin and left the back long, it was like I had 2 hair cuts, they said that's an angle in the front. I didn't ask for an angle, I said I want my hair long and they completely cut the sides of my head so short I can't even get it to stay up in a pony tail. The back being so much longer than the front just looked ridiculous and in the end I had to tell them to cut all the length out. I would go back for the keratin but never again for a haircut. I thought the 1st bad hair cut in September was because I wasn't specific enough but apparently even when you are specific they do what they want anyway read more

Very disappointed in this hair salon. I went in a few weeks ago for a cut and color. I asked for 3 inches off + layers. I had 6-7 inches cut off (not counting the layered pieces). As for the color, oh my. I asked for red. Showed a picture of the exact color I wanted actually, to avoid confusion. My hair came out PURPLE. And not like a redish purple, straight up purple. Lastly, the color has already faded and is showing the bleach that was put in my hair. How could I be charged alllllll that money for these results? :( I do not recommend this salon. read more

Don' t go here. I made an appointment waited around for 15 minutes and no one even washed my hair. I walked right out. When I was walking is out is when they started to pay attention to me.
