This was our first meal in Calgary and wasn't a great experience. Although full marks for the considerate and helpful staff but the food wasn't just worth it. We were four (two seniors) and went for an Avocado Wrap, an Egg Wrap, a Vegan Sandwich and, a Hummus Wrap. For beverages, we went for an Americano and a Ginger Tea with Milk. Now, unless you're alone, it won't make any sense to be here because the wraps (Avocado and Hummus) and the sandwich (Vegan) tasted very much the same. It was like the sandwich was the same as the wrap, except that the tortilla was replaced by bread. We didn't eat Egg Wrap since we're vegans but my father-in-law thought it was good. The worst experience we had was with the ginger tea. The issue was with the split milk. It might have to do with the ginger used since they showed us the milk they were using and it looked fine. The gentleman said that that's how it is and it doesn't mean the milk is bad or something. We weren't convinced - having had ginger tea every day back home. The gentleman showed his own ginger tea which he was drinking but that also had split milk and he was drinking it happily. By this time I had lost the motivation to argue and just left it there. Americano was okay. Overall, I'll give it a pass. read more

This is probably the best nutrition /juice bar I've ever been to! With a focus on whole, natural ingredients you know anything you eat here will fuel your body and make you feel better than when you came in. This was the perfect stop after a week of travelling we had to come back again before flying out. Their chicken panini was amazing and so affordable, and we loved the smoothies too! So far we've tried passion fruit, jimma star, oasis boost, and the green smoothie. Highly recommend! read more

My friend wanted something natural and we saw the juice bar across the street. There were a few people in front of us but the man behind the counter was quick in fulfilling the orders. Had a chicken sandwich (recommended by the staff - I asked for the largest meal lol) + acai bowl + smoothie. Everything was delicious. I was dissapointed because I had to wait for 30 minutes for my 2 smoothies. There is only one guy before me. Also I didn't receive any explanation or apologies during or after the order. The lady was taking my order didnt even read my order so she only charged 1 when I ordered 2. She was somewhat unprofessional and wasn't welcoming at all. I didn't pay attention until the guy realized and asked to charge me again which is fine but it just a waste of time.The smoothie also was watery in my opinion. Amazing juice bar and it's reflected by the great owner, Kedir. I was traveling into Calgary for work and wanted to continue with my juicing and Kedir really accommodated my request, he even opened early for me to pick up my juices, so I could make my 9:00am meeting. If you can handle some heat, ask Kedir to make you his morning kicker, I loved it and it gave me so much energy throughout the day. All are fresh, delicious and the date cookie is a must. So many healthy breakfast options await you here. I was on a video conference and wanted to stop in a cafe quickly to take a seat (of course to buy something so I could sit). I saw the space was a little too small so I left. The owner ran behind me and asked why I came in the store on my phone. I said I was on a conference call. The owner became aggressive and started to say that I was weird for doing that and said it wasn't allowed. I peacefully said alright and didn't want to cause any trouble. The owner kept going on about me having my phone being weird. I wouldn't recommend this place solely based on the owners actions. read more

I got a "green surprise," which as all sorts of goodies like spinach, kale, cuke, lemon... they add a sprinkling of chia seeds for a bit of texture and the overall impression is health-in-a-cup as well as something far more refined and less junk-food than at places like Booster or other Jamba Juice clones. Also, get the samosas! Lentil-filled with a bit of chili, a great little snack that are- I cannot believe this- $1 each. The juices start of $5 for 12 generous ounces (the cup is overflowing) and for Calgary these prices are absolutely nuts. Great little juice bar just opened in the Beltline on the corner of 10 Ave & 1 Street SW in the Lofts on 1st building. A great menu of healthy, fresh juices & smoothies as well as some food options. My green apple smoothie (with Kale) might be the healthiest thing I've ever tasted and pretty yummy too. Really friendly owner. The first shop was opened by his brother in New York. It's very successful and he came here to help his brother open one here. They view it as a community-hub with healthy options for the area, based on the philosophy of their Father who had a health clinic in Ethiopia. read more

This place was amazing. Came here after a long travel day and they had everything we needed. We were able to custom order our juice and it was delicious. Such a wonderful reprieve from the quick unhealthy snacks we had earlier in the day. We were able to try the lentil samosas and they were amazing. The spicy cilantro sauce was the best ! The samosas were already good but that sauce really made them spectacular. So glad we found this place and we hope to be able to come back soon. read more
