I scheduled a 3pm couples massage for my anniversary. No one answered my call the day of. Their phone line is busy or you can't leave a voicemail. Very unprofessional. The building was closed when it said it was opened. Never will i schedule an appointment with them over the phone. Literally ruined my day. I really enjoyed my massage from here. The spa is clean and welcoming. We've done couples massages and we've gifted massages. There's both a male and female masseuse. If you have a preference, I'd advise you specify while booking. Scheduling an appointment is a hit or miss due to the receptionist not having access to the masseuse's schedule. No licenses are pictured in this establishment. As a female consumer, you may only have a male masseuse. The young man was extremely rough and continually threw my limbs all over when massaging and laughed every single time I said "Ouch!" or "Too rough." I left in the middle of my massage and the front desk lady after I gave her my complaints followed up 1) You should've told him- oh wait, he doesn't speak any English and 2) Are you going to tip him? Birthday massage was amazing! I'm so glad that I decided to take the day for myself (after my work sessions were cancelled) and I didn't know what else to do to relax. Last minute decision to get a massage instead of a mani / pedi because it was something I couldn't do myself (excluding my body roller). Polite man greeted me (although I was expecting the lady that I spoke to on the phone), but calmed myself (as I very much prefer women for massages) and said that it would be okay for a professional massage. He did great to get my permission for a heavy amount of pressure (I love deep pressure) and a half leg or full leg which included top hamstrings. I put forth 22 years of athletic experiences (out of 27 years old now) and know that the hips, buttocks, and upper thighs are the MOST neglected places, but are vital to performance. He went over all places that I would use my roller to target. However, different hand positions could have been used to prevent any confusion on immodesty concerning more sensitive areas of the hips/ groin as a male masseuse on a female customer. I've had a different spa use back & sides of the arm. If you're conservative, keep on spandex and assert boundaries to exclude hips or butt areas per your preferences. I will be back to see if other employees are as mindful. Very soft and smooth hands which we're nice while massaging my overworked fingers and palms with forming calluses from strength training at the gym. read more
