I was able to book on-line the night prior, such a relief as I have been battling migraines all week and other spas were booked out for days. I will return every week to see Cici while I'm in Madison! I'm a healthcare traveler and it's vital for me to find a really skilled massage therapist in every new city! Cici is the best! I'll definitely book an hour with her once a week, maybe twice a week. I believe the basic massage is only $80 plus tip. The $10 lymphatic work was definitely worth it!!! Would give less stars if I could. This was supposed to be a fun experience for my fiancé and I for our anniversary. While the place was clean, the only reason we trusted this place. We got to choose how hard or soft to go. I choose medium not too hard not to soft. However the lady was so rough with me I was crying and whimpering the whole time. I asked several times for her to be more gentle, which did not work and she simply kept going. I was in so much PAIN AFTER THIS! I felt trapped with what felt like days to that table being tortured. I dont know if she did it out of hate, racism. Or what, but she spoke perfect English. Avoid this place... they dint deserve your money.. read more

My husband and I had an amazing experience with our couples massage at Oasis Spa! I deal with chronic pain and we were both very sore after multiple days of hiking and canoeing. We arrived on time and they immediately got started with the intake process. While it felt a bit rush-y at first, I now appreciate it because they ensured we got the full time that we paid for with no frills. In the hurry to fill out the form, I only circled my main trouble spots, but it didn't matter because my masseuse (woman who's name is escaping me) was like a tension detector. She found all the knots and tense spots, and made sure to work at them until they were relieved. It was a true deep tissue massage, but she also made sure to check if the pressure was too much every step along the way. It was the most thorough and effective massage I've ever had at a very competitive price! My husband had a similar experience with a male masseuse, so we will both be returning soon! read more

We booked online and showed up for our appointments on time and we were ready to let go of the body stress we have accumulated over the last 5 weeks of traveling in our car from California to Wisconsin. I was in the area and called Oasis Spa to see if they had any availability. They were able to take me a few hours later, so I booked an appointment, provided my name, the massage I wanted, and requested a female therapist. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk at first, but eventually a male employee came up and checked me in. He then asked if it was okay if he did my massage. Since I had specifically requested a female, I politely declined, and he arranged for a female therapist instead. Once in the treatment room, the experience unfortunately felt uncomfortable. The therapist did not fully close the door when she came in, and when I asked her to, she did--but later she left again to get massage oil and returned without closing the door at all. The door remained cracked for the entire session, which made me feel exposed and unsafe. I even asked if I could shorten my 60-minute session to 30 minutes due to the discomfort, but was told that wasn't possible. The massage itself was fine, but I couldn't relax enough to enjoy it because of how unsettled I felt. I've never experienced a spa where doors are left open during services, and if it is their policy, I think it's important for guests to know beforehand. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 only because the massage technique itself was okay, but overall this was not a comfortable or relaxing experience.
