If I could rate this company a zero on here I would. One of their reckless drivers came inches away from hitting me in the parking lot after speeding through. The driver proceeded to get out of his car, verbally assault me, and threaten physical violence against me. I called the company office immediately afterwards to report this and was told they were "way too busy to do anything about this" and they hung up on me. absolutely insane this company is still in business. read more

Unless you spot one of their drivers outside of your location, please do yourself a favor and do NOT call this business. For starters, they have the professionalism of a herd of wild apes. When you call, they answer the phone HELLO. You have to ask if it's Oasis or not. As per previous reviews we have left, this company flat out stinks. I called tonight for a ride and was told 15 minutes. Half an hour later, I called and was told 30-45. Are you kidding me? I walked to work because I cannot rely on this company. If you have time to waste and don't mind getting to your destination at any old time, and are ok with being talked to like you are an idiot, go ahead and call them. If you are trying to get somewhere on time, such as work, forget it. They will tell you when the driver should show and, rest assured, your driver will NOT show up at that time. You'll have to call and, as usual, you will be told a different time. They may, or may not show up. Usually, they don't. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. My friend tried to get a taxi from here and the woman was super rude. He asked if they accepted card payment and the woman said yes. She quoted him at $12 for a 5 minute drive. He said "wow that's expensive." The woman hung up. He called back and asked if she put in for the ride and she said no and hung up on him again. I called and asked to speak to the supervisor, the woman he spoke to said she was the supervisor. I told her that she was rude and that's not the way you treat your customers. She said f*** you b**** and hung up on me then proceeded to call me two more times to curse at me. Inconsistent service, rude operators, usually friendly drivers. The operator said the cab would come in 5, and I'm okay with the fact that it didn't come after waiting 15 min. I called back to cancel because I no longer needed the cab at that point (it was easier to find a ride and by then I had missed the bus I was trying to get to, which is a 3 min ride away). Overpriced. My destination is legit 3 min away and I'm charged $10. Ghetto, they refer to me as "ma" on the phone. Most of the drivers are rude. Tonight it seemed like my driver was high on dope or something. He also lied and said he was waiting for me while I was sitting outside waiting for him. I watched him pull in!!!! I had used this cab between Oct 2014 to Dec 2014 on daily basis and they were good and charged nominal fares. On 7th April 2015, I called them to pick me from Raritan Center, Sayreville to Riverside Dr, Edison. They told me that the driver is gonna tell me the exact fare and as i had used their services in the past i thought they will be nominal with the fares. The driver showed up with his girlfriend in the car. He wasnt sure about the address i had provided Oasis cabs on the phone. so he stopped at a gas station to check the exact address and i stepped out to withdraw some cash from the ATM. On the way these guys were listening to loud music and were kissing and so on. When we finally reached the destination he said the fare is 40 bucks. the total distance we covered was less than 6 miles. When i confronted him saying that i used to pay one fourth of the fare for greater distance in the past and taking fare hikes into consideration it would not be four folds. the driver said the basic fare is 35 plus 5 for a stop which was not requested by me. The worst part is when i called the operator to inform this unprofessional behavior of the driver, and fyi, i was very polite on the call. the lady hang up the phone in a beat when i completed without any explanation. Hands down the worst run organization I've seen. A driver nearly hit me, then tried blaming me for his reckless driving. He proceeded to get out of the car and try to fight me, while verbally assaulting me and calling me every name in the book. The worst part, after I called to tell the company what this driver had done they said they were too busy and will ask the driver what happened. I can see why this place only has one star. We tried to cancel the second taxi for our trip and they did not let us, telling us we need it for our luggage. Then they showed up and we didn't need it at all. We're trying to get everything figured out and they keep changing the price on us. It went from $65 for the van but then they upped the price considerably, claiming the price is totaled per person, not a set price, which makes absolutely no sense. Also, I know it's not per person because when we originally called for one van, they told us it was $65 before even asking us how many people we had. Super shady. this is the worst cab service ever, please pay a bit more and uber or call another cab. they will tell you 8 minutes and have you waiting like 30 minutes. the driver i had had to be drunk swerving everywhere. the girl dispatcher is the rudest person i ever encountered. half the drivers are illegal and dont even have their license. last time i took them i ended up leaving my bag in the cab, i called the office the girl lied and said nothing was left theives!!!!!!!! they need to shut down already have immigration called on those people asap!! read more

I have been given the Jersey Bird from there drivers when I honked my horn so they wouldn't hit my car. This company is terrible!!! They should not be in business. I have to write a review here because I've been using this taxi company for 2 years since I moved here. Their prices are outrageous, charging me 10 dollars for a 5 minute ride back to my house in the dark. The drivers are frequently rude, or there's some kind of inappropriate behavior, commentary, and 90% of their drivers have no social skills to speak of. The operators are even worse - they give you sass if you try to negotiate a price. They refuse to take cards. I have no idea how they are still in business, maybe because this area is so scarce. I use then frequently because they are the only cab company in the area and they are always fifteen to thirty minutes late. I've missed plenty of doctor's appointments and was late to work several times but they still demand full fare. Some drivers frequently try to rip you off and charge twice as much to make a profit. read more

REPORTING TO BBB & NEVER USING AGAIN. Oasis Taxi took advantage of my 93yr old grandmother who took a cab and left a bag with $30 of groceries. She called while the drive was still in sight and the dispatcher said he would be back in 15 minutes. We were hung up on multiple times and the dispatcher said they were too busy and it was not their problem. Every time I called and asked for a supervisor they hung up on me because I was a woman. My taxi driver did not speak any English and had an 8 year old translating for her. The driver also didn't take cards which I found unusual and was very inconvenient. I got out and walked home, but left a tip for their troubles. Never again. read more

Incompetent taxi company that couldn't arrange a pickup booked a day in advance for 6am to Heathrow airport. We received a text confirming the taxi was booked and thought all was fine. We waited for 5 minutes and I called them to see if things were OK, only to realise the operator had my address at hand but didn't know my name or even what terminal we were going to. The operator was not helpful but kept guaranteeing the taxi would come in the next few minutes. The taxi eventually arrived but 20 minutes late. The first thing the taxi driver asked, upon helping us move our luggage into the trunk was "This is heavy, is it filled with sushi?". We are Asian but not Japanese - quite unprofessional and by this point my mum and I were rather stressed with a plane to catch. The driver told us he came late because his previous customer was late, and that the operator didn't tell him that he had us to pick up at 6am. There is a clear lack of communication and lack of efficiency with this company and many errors from the start. We are never travelling with Oasis Taxis again. read more
