And honestly even after the wedding I don't see our love for this place slowing down. Everyone there is the sweetest including David who is the manager of the place. Our instructor Mya is the best there is and we love her! She's so kind and gentle with instruction, will never make you feel any kind of way when guiding you and honestly it's the reason we love Arthur Murray as much as we do! Thank you Mya!! If you're looking for guidance on your first dance or just want to learn more styles of dance couple or otherwise this place is the one for you!

Realistically, we had about 2.5 weeks to learn a routine given our travel plans. At no point during our first (or subsequent) visits were we made to feel stressed or ill-prepared given our truncated timeline, which I greatly appreciated. We were assured that 4 lessons would be plenty to get us first dance ready and these promises were fulfilled! Di was our instructor and we absolutely adored working with her - she is very in tune with people and knows how to explain things in multiple ways for different types of learners. We felt so comfortable and confident by our wedding day and our first dance went extremely smoothly! We cannot thank Di and Arthur Murray enough for giving us such a wonderful experience!! In fact, we had so much fun working with Di that we decided to purchase additional lessons for country swing - we can't wait to be back for these lessons! If you're looking to get into dancing for any reason, including your first dance, look no further!

I knew choosing to pick up a language in my 30s was going to be challenging (and I'm not going to sugar coat it, French is tough), but I am amazed at how far I've come since beginning lessons with Emmanuel. He brings variety to lessons (that have translated seamlessly to virtual this year) that helps make learning relevant and fun. I really appreciate that Emmanuel teaches you the 'correct' way to speak, read & write, but he also tells you how French is actually used and what rules you can bend and break. He creates the ability for you to decide who you want to be when you speak French through teaching you multiple levels of formality and street French. Not only do I feel far more equipped for my next trip to Paris, but I've really enjoyed some of the unexpected benefits such as actually understanding what's going on when a movie or tv character suddenly goes into speaking French with zero or not quite accurate subtitles. My reading and writing skills have come in handy on a few occasions too! On top of all that Emmanuel creates a safe space for learning. He is incredibly patient, caring, and knows when to push you and when to help you out. Emmanuel is always thinking about how he can improve his programs and create materials to supplement learning (you should definitely follow him on Instagram or TikTok). If you love French culture, are willing to take risks and put in the work, Emmanuel will be there to help you 'level up your Frenchness' so you can speak like a native French speaker (or close to it).

What makes this school so special isn't just the curriculum or activities it's the love that fills the building. The teachers didn't just look after my child; they knew her. They celebrated her personality, comforted her on hard days, and treated her like family. Over the years, this school became more than just a drop-off and pick-up place it became a community. The kind where parents support each other, staff know every child by name, and every milestone feels shared. Leaving was bittersweet, but I'm forever grateful that her early years were spent surrounded by people who made her feel safe, confident, and deeply loved. If you're looking for a preschool that truly becomes part of your village this is the one!

The teachers have all been wonderful, so caring, and adaptive to our child's needs. It really feels like a partnership. Our child is high functioning but on the spectrum, and has come on lightyears in development since starting at this preschool. He is so happy to go in, and has actual friends now, 6 months ago he could barely talk. There is a feeling of real nurturing here vs the much bigger center we were previously at. The prices are extremely reasonable for full time care, meals are included, and for a slight amount extra there are additional classes available like soccer/gymnastics, which is really great. They are fairly strict on sickness policy, but it feels like a good thing. I wish we had found out about this center earlier in our search, it feels like a hidden gem.

I'd been looking for a writing class, and was inclined to do a continuing ed class at a university. But I was sold on Writing Pad because they show you where their students get published and that their method works. I've loved my teachers Brett and Erika. I'd been struggling to get my ideas from brain to draft, had such a hard time structuring my time so I'd get things done, felt like writing without feedback was setting me back. Writing Pad solved ALL of those problems and then some. The instructors are *incredible* -- I've taken two classes with Jack Kukoda and Todd Waldman, and my scripts are eons beyond what I would have been able to accomplish alone. They are fantastic writers who have written MANY of my favorite shows (Superstore, Community, Happy Endings!!!) and I get to take a small, personalized class with them??? Sometimes people can Do but not Teach-- it is clear Writing Pad seeks instructors who excel at both. The classes are run like writers' rooms, everyone giving feedback in a constructive and serious but absolutely not intimidating way. I've also made a ton of friends from my classes and met people I'm collaborating with!! ALSO IT IS WILDLY AFFORDABLE FOR THE VALUE. BEYOND WORTH IT. I could go on forever but I won't because I sound like I'm trying to get you guys to join my cult or something (I'm just really enthusiastic and grateful, okay??), So I'll end with this: look up writing pad classes, find a teacher and course that interest you. SIGN UP. You will not regret it. 100000 stars!!!

Unfortunately, the front desk staff were rude and inflexible from the moment we walked in. Rather than welcoming a prospective student, they spent the entire interaction explaining all the reasons he couldn't see the campus that day. A simple gesture -- "since you're here, let us take five minutes to show him around" -- would have meant the world to a child. Instead, we got rigid rules and zero warmth. If this is how a school treats prospective families during what should be their best foot forward, I can only imagine the day-to-day environment for kids. We made the decision on the spot not to enroll. I'd recommend other families look elsewhere.

As a parent who had a child enrolled here for a few years, I feel a responsibility to share our…read moreexperience so other families can make an informed decision, especially since the school sells itself to the outside very well. In our experience, school management is disorganized and unresponsive, and this often translates into emotional stress for the children. Communication with administration is difficult. It also appears that management does not support their teachers when conflict comes up with demanding parents, which is disappointing and, in my view, contributes to staff turnover and low morale. There were repeated incidents over time that raised serious concerns about supervision and overall school climate. Bullying and peer issues are an ongoing topic across almost all grades. Many families speak up now about mean, inappropriate targeting behaviors between students that feel insufficiently addressed. Common areas, particular bathrooms where students of different ages interact, feel poorly supervised. This adds to concerns about safety and creates a stressful environment for students, and was one of the reasons several families I personally know chose to leave the school. There also seems to be a difficult dynamic among adults in this school. Some parents regularly treat teachers poorly, and several strong educators eventually left. This kind of environment sets a troubling example for children, and in my opinion, contributes to a hostile school environment. Academically I find the program very weak. Class sizes are large (approximately 30 students with one teacher) and there appear to be limited additional professional classroom support. Many students who may have needed extra assistance do not have aides, which makes it difficult for teachers to meet the needs of all students. As a result, instruction often seems geared toward the lowest performing level in the classroom. In my experience, this causes the entire classroom to fall behind academically. By the upper elementary grades, reading and math expectations were well below what we expected. Many families I know privately hired outside tutors multiple times per week just to cover basic skills. Several families left to academic concerns. Day to Day classroom conditions are challenging. The classrooms are often very loud, and student behavior frequently feels out of control. During many volunteer opportunities, I personally observed that a large portion of the teacher's energy goes trying to calm students or get them to sit down, leaving less time for learning. Because the school seems to rely heavily on parent volunteers, adults without pedagogical training are frequently in and out of classrooms. While the intention might be to help, this often results in inconsistent, unqualified, or biased assistance, which does not support a productive learning environment. Finally, I want to note that my experience aligns with what other critical reviews have mentioned. Families deserve to know the full picture. This review is written to inform and caution parents, with the hope that it helps families ask the right questions and make choices that best support their children's well being. Please talk to multiple parents in depth who are still there or have left the school and you will hear about all these matters in person.
