I'm sure a Michelin Star is coming their way. My wife and I did the cooking class with Chef Raffaele and it was a delight. Every second, Chef Raffaele guided us with his tremendous passion. We were greeted with Prosecco, water, and espresso (on the house) prior the course. Designated area was prepared per individual with an apron to keep at the end. You can tell Chef Raffaele cared about his students as he was not afraid to correct any mistakes. I was too hasty on certain techniques and he professionally instructed me to slow down and enjoy the process. He was gentle yet caring on his instructions towards my wife and I. The experience included a 4 course meal (antipasti potato croquet, primi margarita pizza, secondi gnocchi pasta, and desert tiramisu. All the food we created together there was delicious and any left over is to be taken home. Our eating portion felt as if we were in a fine dining restaurant and the front of house did not miss a beat! Our glasses were continuously filled and the interaction with the team was truly appreciated. It was also a delight to see his team conduct mise en place prior service while we were doing the class! Located in the Amalfi Coast across from the picturesque sea. This mostly outdoor upscale ristorante offered exceptional food and even more exquisite service. Giovanni and Roberto both took care to make sure our 2 dinners there were perfect. The first night we dined on pasta that was house made with sauce your Nona would be proud of. Fresh made bread baked in-house came out steaming hot and soft inside . Nocino after dinner digestive finished off the meal. That was perfect for us since it is near impossible to get Nocino in the states. Our return the next evening was filled with fireworks celebrating the Saint of Positano over the water as we ate ravioli with 3 sauces. Simply delicious.
