She responded well to my requests for less or more pressure, and she spent good time working out other areas of strained muscle that she discovered on my back. She also used a nice essential oil blend to help soothe and relieve pain. Deep tissue work can be a little uncomfortable normally, but I left actually feeling relaxed! She's everything you want in a massage therapist - strong, no nonsense and can address specific issues of concern. She can vary the pressure for your taste. She uses a weighted blanket if you like that. The music she plays is not intrusive or annoying, just lovely background music (ie. No weird new age orchestral arrangements).
