Booked an appointment easily on their website. It is located in a strip mall right near the famous Evelyns diner. The entrance and seating/waiting area was a little odd. The place is small and you are asked to take your shoes off upon entering, but that means you were right in the doorway while trying to get your shoes off and balance putting on slippers that they leave at the door. There's only two seats in the waiting area. There was no tea or anything else out like I have seen in other pictures but I was offered a water. Elana was my massage therapist and she was fantastic. A couple of issues was that the treatment rooms are extremely small is very little room to maneuver. Also, they must have had satellite radio on so the radio station kept going in and out which made for very awkward moments of complete silence in the room and during that time, you could hear other patrons talking, music from the Pilates, studio next-door, and traffic on the road. After about 10 minutes, she did ask if I wanted her to go get her phone so she could put on music in which I said yes-it was very hard to concentrate every time the music went off. I thought $140 for a 90 minute massage was an excellent price and she was great, but I'm not sure if I would return due to them having no amenities and the outside noise issues. read more

I like when a massage has a good amount of pressure but is also relaxing, I don't like to feel intense pain the entire time. I thought Meagan gave a great balance of pressure and relaxation, and I left my massage feeling great. The atmosphere is very comfortable and Meagan payed attention to the spots I told her were sore. She used coconut oil and other aromas that were natural and calming. I've gotten massages before where I left feeling very greasy but this was not the case. Having been in the spa industry most of my career, I can be a bit.. picky? Let me tell you, I was so impressed!! The attention to detail was incredible. All the most calming, inviting smells- coconut, lavender, eucalyptus, lemon everywhere! Massage was incredible - warm towels on the feet (my FAV), eye drapes and a perfect mixture of relaxing strokes with deep tissue. It's hard to find a place that offers manual lymphatic massage and when I learned that Mosaic offered this I wanted to try it out. The facilities are cozy and calming. When the therapist learned that my neck was sore she adjusted my session to include some attention to that area. I left really refreshed and my legs felt lighter. I have since gone to doc ordered PT for manual lymphatic drainage and, now having something to compare it to, can say that the Mosaic experience was supreme. read more

She clearly understands musculature and ligaments, as well as pressure points. She asked me where my pain holds itself and then worked not only the specific spots but also all the attached areas. Very negative experience. I booked a massage for myself and my mother as a Xmas present. We were very excited and surprised to get in on Xmas-eve, but as they say, if it's too good to be true. I showed up to the appointment, after receiving a confirmation email, only to be sitting outside with no one there. Complete waste of time. That's the first strike. Next, I sent a text to the owner expecting her to make the situation right. Instead, I get a pretty unprofessional response, essentially stating that I should have looked on her Facebook page to know she is on vacation and that she did not realize anyone booked an appointment. I'm sorry, but it's not my job to understand when you are on vacation and to update your schedule accordingly. Strike two. I am sure the owner is good at what she does, but I guess I will never find out. My suggestion is that if you plan on booking, just make sure you check facebook, or send a text to the owner to find out if she will actually be at your appointment. Good luck! read more

From the perspective of a former massage therapist, it's been difficult to find a massage therapist to stick to as no one is ever good enough. The experience with Meagan was pleasant from the beginning. She is very friendly and listens to your needs prior and during the session. The place is very comforting though small. Even though it has been a while since I've treated myself to a massage, I've been to many massage therapists in the tri-state area over the years and I am thrilled to have found Meagan at Mosaic Custom Massage! After complaining about my headaches (tension headaches and migraines), extremely tight, sore and achy neck, shoulders and upper back, my friend forcefully made me visit Groupon and purchase a voucher for a therapist in the area; after all, it had been a while since I'd had a massage and wasn't even sure where to go! Mosaic appeared on Groupon and after seeing great reviews, on Yelp of course, I decided to purchase a 60 minute massage with Meagan. I called and left her a message to call me back so I could schedule an appointment, but a few moments later realized that I had the option to book online; awesome! This is huge for me, simply for the convenience factor, because I'm so busy that I don't have time for shenanigans. Meagan texted me back only a couple of hours later to schedule the appointment but I informed her that I'd already done so online. She was extremely friendly and courteous, even providing precise directions to her location in the Hope Artiste Village, which is one of my most favorite places in the area. The morning of my appointment, Meagan texted me about 15 minutes prior to my arrival just to confirm and I thought that was a really nice touch because it's not at all common to receive such personalized customer service these days. When did finally arrive and walked upstairs, some painting was taking place in the halls and the contractor working told me he had taken the room numbers down off of the doors. Meagan must've heard me because she came out right away to introduce herself which I greatly appreciated as the building can be a bit confusing to navigate. Her space is absolutely adorable; it's light, bright and airy with unique decor that made me feel instantly comfortable. She introduced herself, asked me to fill out a couple of forms and offered me water or tea. As I finally laid down on her insanely warm and cozy table, I immediately felt relaxed. The massage was wonderful and I really enjoyed the small touches that I've never had elsewhere; she rubs oil on her hands and places them over your face asking you to take a couple of deep breaths; now I'm not sure what the smell was, but it was intoxicating. She placed a hot towel on my upper back as well as my feet and did a great job of focusing on my problem areas without causing pain or discomfort. When it was over, I felt so relaxed and tired that I went home and took a nap!
