We have been members at this church for a little over 5 years now. My children chose this church for our family because they love the Children's Church here. The staff in the children's church are friendly and caring. There is a staff to children ratio and I love that about this place. They treat your child just as they would treat their own child...I've never witnessed any yelling at children at Hope Harbor. There is a cafe and bookstore in the Fellowship Hall. Often times, there are food items that are free for the taking from the Food Ministry. On Friday Nights, they feed the community with a ministry called "Rock Soup." Also, there are 3 convenient times for worship. Friday nights at 7PM, Sundays at 9AM and 11AM...the worship team rocks! If you would come to church for the worship...this is the place to be! The messages are delivered in a way that you can truly find real -life application to. It is awesome! I have only wonderful things to say about this church! It's been a blessing to be part of a great place. If you are ever in the area, come by and visit...maybe you'll even see me! :)

First pres is an outstanding leader of the community. Their endless sharing and community work far exceeds expectations Their love and kindness is unsurpassed by other churches and denominations. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. Attending mass here is like stepping back into the 1940's. It is holy, divine, solemn and it's the way the mass is supposed to be. There is a strict dress code. If you don't know how to dress properly then look it up! The regular parishioners are EXTREMELY good natured, welcoming and VERY nice. It's a tight knit parish. Everyone hangs out afterwards and talks to each other and there's coffee and doughnuts! But if you attempt to not abide by the rules, be prepared to be confronted about it. STRAIGHT UP.. This is my STORY…read more I'm Jacob I always knew I had to answer to a higher calling in my life if I did bad or wrong but I never had a "relationship" with Jesus christ fast forward a couple years down the road my grandma died at home she was like a mom to me because my mom was working all the time I grew up in a single parent home so my grandma technically was my mom per say. When my grandma died I was there to be a comfort to her during her lasts breathes and sometime after that I got exposed to pornography and found that as an outlet for my grief but little did I know that it would bring anxiety,depression, fear and insecurities. And during my junior and high school years it made a huge negative impact on my performance in school. Fast forward 2025 I lost my job, fiance and was stripped from everything I idolized I had plans to kill myself in my truck but I ran into Luke and shatera at Sam's club and invited me to they're church anytime and I felt so welcomed and just genuinely felt concerned about and loved ever since then I have been coming getting connected and met some great men and women in the church that I call family...
