I took my white gold chain into heavy lobster car placed on it, and the chain they gave me back wasn't the chain that I gave them. It was a cheap one and they probably sold my original white gold chain! After wearing it several times I noticed it wasn't the right chain and it was a different Length. I thought I found a good jeweler. Someone that i could trust to do work. I worked in the business for many years and many different companies. Being in the business I realized you should never turn away a customer, you should want to form a lifelong relationship. I had a few jobs done at this store. The last job was a repair on a platinum bracelet. The job was well done, at a reasonable price. My husband was searching for a local jewelry store near our home and discovered Ocean View. As many newly transplanted people, there are not many reputable jewelry stores here. He initially needs a battery and a minor repair on a watch. While there, he was waited on by Sergio and inquired about jewelry. He was shown a beautiful custom ring which he fell in love with. He brought me back to the shop which is in an old house right on Atlantic Avenue with good parking. We purchased the ring and it was resized at that time. We were both impressed with the quality of their jewelry and their service plans. They have a nice selection of jewelry (not gigantic but tasteful) and indicated that if were interested in other rare stones - I am - they could source stones when i'm ready. They do do their own design as well. They've been around some time so worth a visit for jewelry and watches as well. read more

This business is a true gem in Ocean View, Delaware. It is family owned and the customer service is outstanding. It is hard to find a jeweler now days, who has years of experience in this industry. They are able to make custom pieces and also do jewelry restoration and repairs on site. In my case, Alessandra was able to make it happen rt away. I was fortunate to have my grandmother's ring from 1918 fixed, cleaned and repaired within minutes by her father, who btw is extremely knowledgeable in the history and value of jewelry. Another plus.... They have beautiful showcases filled with pieces including 14k gold at all price points. I will definitely be back, as Alessandra her brother and father were amazing. It is nice to know customer service is still alive. I highly recommend and will be a customer for life! read more

I was not planning on writing a review bc this is a local business, but everyday I keep thinking about the experience I had. First off, one of the "owners" had his mask at his chin the entire time and I had to stand 6 feet back bc I was so uncomfortable in the tiny shop. Next, I told this "owner" that I was looking for a $30k engagement ring, and to his loss, he didn't take me seriously. He said he had been in the business for like 10 years or something, yet asked if I was looking for a "cushion band," to which I said no, I wanted a...cushion cut. He then proceeded to show me rings that were just so far off from what I asked to see, couldn't even size me correctly, it was so uncomfortable. He then said he was going to call me w the stones he was getting in, to which I said I'd look at no less than an I color. He then said "oh we are very selective in the stones we pick and don't go below E" or something like that. First of all, that is absolutely RIDICULOUS. If he had really been in the business for as long as he said, you 100% look to ring color around J/K, because you can get a lot of bang for your buck. Anyways, it was his loss. I told him we were looking to purchase in a couple weeks bc we wanted to purchase on DE, and he never called. My bf is instead getting a ring from NYC Diamond District, WITHOUT even seeing it in person. That's how much trust we had in a $30K purchase over this jeweler.
