Problem is, if you are sleeping in this spot, it will get loud at night. Perfect for the ankle biters, they can run around all they want. Large green lawn space, didn't see any snakes about either. There is a small lake on the premises, so those with toddlers will want to keep an eye out. The owner is an accommodating, customer-oriented guy. I couldn't find my towel and he helped to search the cabins and made some calls around to help find it. Bawley Point is such a small town (there is only one cafe and the hours depend on what the weather is like!) that our wedding party troop became the talk of the town as we invaded the surrounds. Also, the surf isn't too far to get to. Yes, you will need to drive a bit down the road, but with hardly anyone there to compete for waves, long boarders and short boarders alike will love it! Would not hesitate to stay here again!

They called me about 20 minutes later and had already found me other accommodations nearby on a busy holiday weekend for the same price. Very responsive and accommodating to my son's allergies. They were always quick to respond. There was a warm greeting when we arrived. Filled in a bit of paperwork and then we got to make our breakfast choices. Lots of options available. You're only a 5-10 minute drive from Dunoon where you an find a variety of restaurants and bars open in the evening. All the bedrooms appear to be at least a short flight of stairs to keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Otherwise the rooms were a nice size and very comfortable. Overall, I wish we had more time to stay and explore because we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book again if we were in the area.

My personal favorite is the chile machine. This is a family friendly club with candy and stuffed animal claw machines. There are also open tables through out the bar area with Keno on each table. Towards the back of the club before you reach the Asian restaurant, there is more casual dinning. If you eat there, it didn't look like you needed to make any reservation/booking. We came to the RSL a couple nights for dinner at the Asian place in the back of the club, make a booking with Daniel- nice gent, you can't miss him, he's only 6+feet tall! Night 1: Hot & Cold Seafood Platter: this was my favorite! -Soft shell Crab -Mussels -Marinara Calamari -Oysters -Large Prawns All served with plenty of lime Night 2: Prawn Salad and Apple Crumble with creme fraiche for dessert, I also sampled the banana and ice cream which was quite tasty Both nights I left absolutely stuffed but worked it off at the poke machines :)

There's even a small pool out back if you're looking to cool down a bit, however it definitely can not accommodate lap swim of any kind. What makes this motel stand out is that each room has it's own private balcony where you can chill out with friends and some drinks. And the view is something else. While you can't see the beaches from here (maybe just barely over the horizon), it's wide open fields with nothing but trees and greenery, which beats out 99.5% of the views you get at your standard motel or hotel. The owners here are very nice and friendly. Each room has a tv with built in dvd player, a toaster, water kettle with tea cups and assorted teas, free WiFi in your room (don't expect to steam video however), and a mini fridge. Pretty standard, but if you're looking to spend the weekend in Milton, I would definitely recommend this place.
